    Yip, was thinking the same thing while standing on the bridge, hearing the thundering sounds. Just got the footage and as I was leaving they came to close the bridge, for a good reason

    @clasieclaassen5365 ja true, like I said in the video, some people worst off than others. Family of mine has also been affected. Their house also flooded, and they lost a lot. Roads are closed, and we are unable to even assist them. Hopefully, everyone is safe now. Be safe out there. Regarding your comment, being nice and thanking someone for their support does not mean I do not care about other people's damages. It's called being kind and appreciative. But thanks for caring.

    Hi Dee, the river is in Western Cape, Overberg, just before Kleinmond. It is currently closed as they are assessing the damage

    The odd thing about names of rivers... The Palmiet river in Pinetown KZN floods the same way every time we have torrential rain. It washes a lot away..

    I think many have been affected, but when I passed there, luckily, none had been flooded, but I do speak under correction as I only drove past but trust and hope everyone is safe

    This is the result of the El-Nino faze which began recently in the Pacific Ocean and will continue for the next three years on average. Winter rainfall areas to receive above normal rainfall figures and watch out for the Summer rainfall areas heading towards a severe drought. Peace and much love to all. Stay safe. God bless.

    There is an upside. The pump storage power stations like Palmiet a d Steenbras wont have to pump the water back up to the top dams.

    Naaaah...We have not even come near to a real catastrophe in this country.....we have never had a major earth quake,great landslides,volcanic eruptions,devastating tornadoes and tropical cyclones... Everything is relative....you just have not seen real big 💩💩💩 yet...not to mention a real big time sunami....We are actually extremely lucky in this country as far as natural disasters are concerned.....So give it a broad smile...😊😊😊😊
