It’s a joke how long it’s taking

It was a fantastic psychological thriller show. All the actors and actresses did an excellent job, one better than the other one. So did the whole crew. And, the writer created a phenomenal story.

@@gearsghoul4500 yes obviously isn’t so exaggerated irl but it’s sad when bits of your genuine private persona mostly don’t come out around close friends (not coworkers, classmates or colleagues) and nobody really understands each other fully. Like comparing my dad’s generation and how tightly knit his friend groups are is crazy, they all have multiple things in common not just bare minimum of being circumstantially proximal to each other.

yeah defintely. I think that's why alcohol has such a big social aspect. It allows you to integrate your personal and public persona. It kind of lets you be "yourself" for a bit. Sadly, we can't be drunk all of the time, not that I would like that. @@paradise_valley

@@Dann-md9eqIt's worth it. It's a bit slow at first, but by the end I knew what I was watching was one of the best seasons of television I've ever seen. Great commentary on the maddening doctrines of corporate workplaces, intelligent use of the main scifi concept, excellent character arcs, set design (the small details matter!), and foreshadowing, and above all, it's just a well-made psychological thriller. I hope Season 2 will come out sometime this year, they've been filming it since January. Up there with Arcane for me, a bonafide 10/10 season of TV.

They've been filming since January, so I expect it'll be ready by the end of the year, or the beginning of 2025.

This show is a masterpiece. Just phenomenal. I can't wait for season 2. And I really hope we get a physical release this time. I need to own this show physically and proudly display it on my shelf.

yep it's a somewhat surprisingly slept on masterpiece. Perhaps it's because it's on Apple TV? I agree with all of your observations. I hadn't heard of it but ended up binge watching in a day. Superb first season.

This series is thought provoking and riveting! Glued from start to finish. If you're a thinker, the plot pretty much applies to the real world. Two different versions of ourselves at war to save the other.

This probably was inspired by the idea of you not being yourself at work, (your innie) and outside of work, not being your innie (your outie) so they took that to the EXTREME and made it a fiction medical procedure!
