As long as the shop owners didn't hurt the robbers god forbid, there's nothing to see here, as far as our legal system is concerned.

Why did they arrest them? They're just going to be turned loose right away.

I stop at that circle K every time I go to work. One time a homeless guy walked in, filled a fountain drink and walked right out. I asked the clerk about it and he told me that the cops don't even respond anymore since all theft in California under $900 dollars is a misdemeanor. It's disgusting what is being allowed by the authorities. It proves they don't give a damn anymore. And if the clerks try to stop the theft and they injure a thief the CLERKS get arrested.

Never. This problem has been crystal clear to the public for decades, and nothing has ever been done to protect small business owners. The people who justify these crimes will say “insurance companies will protect them.”
