After many years of world and life events, I can finally take my 1993 Mazda RX-7 to Sevenstock 24 at the Autoclub Speedway in California. Sevenstock is one of the largest gatherings of rotary fans and their cars, in the world. the SoCal RC Club worked diligently to bring out special guests and even worked with Mazda, to bring out their legendary LeMans and IMSA-winning 4-rotor race cars. At the final crescendo of this event was the fantastic opportunity to join my fellow rotary fanatics on the racetrack with those Mazda racecars. This was an event like no other I have attended and I am thankful to all those who helped make it possible and also grateful to the judging panel for awarding my car with the 'Best 3rd Gen' award. With so many unique and amazing cars and really cool owners, I am deeply humbled and thankful to have received this award. After 4 years of hard work, this means the most. Thank you Sevenstock!
