Seven Stones
How to Design?
As an architecture student at the University of Washington the assignment was to choose and arrange seven stones and present your design. This came from the architect Arthur Erickson that taught that all projects start with an idea. In a Zen way, Seven Stones breaks down preconceived notions about design, and lets students cut to what is truly valuable about the creative process.

Is still widely taught and very enlightening that others do this and creating shapes is still important, and it's similarity to the art of jewellery and writing is striking.
What a great video, and a great exercise. 4 years later, only 500 views..

In the grid design one stone missing
Great content…however the narrator slow, monotone, robotic voice would be put to better use in videos that help people fall asleep :)
