Cortical Visual Impairment is an example of an injury to the visual cortex (part of
the brain) that affects vision even though there are no injuries to the eyes.
Cortical Visual Impairment(CVI)is described in Christine Roman-Lantzy’s book,
Cortical Visual Impairment An Approach to Assessment and Intervention, as a
disability of access-access to the visual world.
