  • @caninphx

    @caninphx

    Жыл бұрын

    @@rickyherbold785 yes they are aluminum, issues a lot of us have had are the 3rd axis adjustments is horrible done, a lot of the screws are stripping/breaking, the cerakote is horribly done, the. Brake system stops working on the wheel. I’ve yet to see a good review on this sight, besides KZreadrs who were given them for free bit saying that’s what elk shape will do, hoping they give an honest review. For 600 that sight should have flawless with zero issues. Don’t get me wrong the concept is great, the build was meh. Look forward to the future with the company.

  • @Pstratis541

    @Pstratis541

    @@caninphx that sucks, sounds like you’ve had a bad time with yours. I’ve had mine for months and it was simple to level and sight in for me. The 2nd axis is kinda of stupid I agree, but not a deal breaker, for me at least. Like I said I’ve had mine for over 3 months and I shoot it every day, my wheel is good, no stripped or loose screws, I hit my release on the scope housing all the time when knocking an arrow and the cerakote has held up great! I’d say durability has more than met my expectations, and I cerakote for a living. But that’s just my 2 cents for anyone reading this and thinking that’s everyones experience has been bad,Cause it hasn’t been for me at least, I love it.

    Love the landslyde. Not a fan of the head…im a huge fan of the ultraview 3 pin(really a 4 pin) attached to my landslide. The top 3 pins are horizontal and the bottom pin is fix right above the bubble level. With a 465 grain arrow going 285 fps my pins work out to 20-30,40,50 and the bottom floater pin is 63. If im one of you id be tinkering with that next. Also this allows you to have a sight with a light if your in a state that allows it…..Another bonus is once i attached the ultraview i was able to get rid of the offset bracket on the landslyde. Allowing me to be able to see my sight tape at full draw. Cheers fellas!!

    I just bought a bunch as well to fletch up, doing my own test on vanes. Max stealth Max Hunter, Fiew nock av2 and Av3, blazer, Q2I raptor, Q2i Fusion 2, DCA Super Sabre, TAC and I am drawing a blank on the other couple I have. Anyways, so far I have seen zero difference in groupings with any of them, this includes, straight, slight offset, minimal helical and the crazy helical from the mini max with any of my test shooting. Once i get all the vanes, I will load up my app on my phone (Archery success, turn on arrow tracking and number the arrows) and try to do a 2wk test and track arrows on targets, to actually see how they track overall and try not to be biased/anecdotal. I suspect my findings will mimic what i have seen so far, but I will put them to the test.

    I'm worried about this too on my APA Black Mamba 33. CTR shot is different than most bows(13/16), the APA sits right around 11/16 to 12/16, blazers are close to contacting the cables. I think they should work though as blazers at 0.57 tall and sabres are 0.55. will know soon, just need to find the right glue now.

    I have a question for anyone , especially the Elk Shape crew. I have been shooting @ 80# for about ten years and is usually not even noticeable. When I have not been shooting for a while it can feel heavy but never hard. I got sick 2 weeks ago, when I was better about a week later I got the bow out to shoot and had a lot of difficulty pulling it back( like almost couldn't) but after a few shots I was back to pulling as if I had not shot in a while for 4 rounds of 4. So, I chocked it up to still being week from being sick. So, its a weak later and I feel pretty good but I couldn't pull the bow back at all at 80., so I cranked it back three turns and was able to seriously struggle back 4 shots. Shoulders feel fine, just maybe a little sick yet, but generally feeling better than last week. Any thoughts.? Am I worried for nothing, bow looks in spec and I'm not a novice.

    Nice thanks for sharing….I think everyone who is serious about archery should be able to tune and work on their bow. It’s like a guitar player that can’t tune their own guitar.

    Pro tip: put your peep in place first with a dummy d loop and get it set. Do your string twists before tying in your nock sets and permanent loop. That way your burn down knots on your nock sets stay on the rear of the string and not twist around that could cause nock pinch.

    Yessir! Definitely, but you'll have to put a serious amount of homework in... I hunted WA in 2001, 20011 and 2021... 2 for 3 but there's a ton of squeezing to get any juice man! -DS. It's just a tough state!

    Still waiting for them to make a western big game adjustable five pin, the site is useless for hunting in my opinion, unless you’re sitting in a stand 20 yards from your truck and diabetes and a bucket of chicken
