This video is a beast, its better then official videos of grafana !! I am stuck in one thing, i installed prometheus and grafana using HELM & in my grafana alert message i am getting longggg SIlence URL by default template. If possible make a video on this !! Kudos to u buddy !!

Thanks of the video. I had doubt can I use this same kind of alerting if we use json plugin. Like we do some get/ POst req and then create alerts based on it. But I'm not getting an option to run query like you've got when using rds as data source

@@koushik4531 hi, the simpod json datasource is not a grafana backend data source so you can't do alerting with this datasource.

Hi, please see the grafana logs. That can help you understand why the mail is not going. Grafana logs can be found in the C/Program files/GrafanaLabs/grafana/data/log folder Hope this helps, cheers 👍

Sir In previous version i am getting instance name & value in single pages in table form but in grafana 10 i am getting different pages for different instance and email body become to big , Can we do like previous one ?

Sir I have doubt . actually i want to setup alerts for a server and i want to group all the alerts for that server in one group and i want to get the first notification on chat and after some times if issue persists than i want mail to be sent . How could i configure it and pls tell what is group wait , group interval and repeat interval . And how can i group the alerts ?

Hi, instead of grouping the alerts, write a query with OR condition that covers all the servers and setup single alert for that query. Hope this helps, cheers 👍
