Really happy to see you continuing with this how to! I get really frustrated with finding a player with my type of play style, explains things at a steady pace with an easy to listen to voice etc… then suddenly stops without reason! I already created a restricted area but npc's keep coming and get my stuffs...it pisses me off they have home,bed,light what did I do wrong ?

You got me playing this, it's been a long time since I last tried it. I went down the ladder to the dungeon but found a room with a stairway down to a puzzle type of small dungeon. This dungeon/puzzle room you couldn't destroy blocks and couldn't heal while there, I had to run back up to the regular dungeon level to heal. Also I didn't like the island I spawned on so moved to a blank island I liked better, no elder or village and started my own there. When I placed the banner a new elder showed up. Have I screwed myself over moving to a different isle?

More people can join your settlement... they will Farm for you and Haul. You can get Fisherman to catch fish, wood haulers, etc etc.... just need extra house with a bed and maybe table, chairs, bookcase, Clock.

Same , my first settlement was made by freestyle as I was learning how to play . It looked very ugly and unorganized. So I started a new one on a blank island. Lol I also had the problem where an elder just settled there I think is normal

I played this game for about an hour with my friend (we're in our mid 30s). Coming off of Dwarf Fortress and Rimworld it seemed too simple, so we refunded. Do you think I made a decision too quickly?

No, I wouldn't say so. The game has a long way in front of it. I'd recommend you to give it another try after it's done though, cause it does aim to have quite a lot of content and follows in the footsteps of many well made games. It has things from Minecraft, Rimworld, Terraria and other big titles, while maintaining a own feel. It just isn't filled with enough content yet. You really feel that when you're trying it, but since it's a sandbox game you can make your own story and create the content yourself to some degree. But it surely needs some more work until it really is a rounded experience. Just my thoughts ;)

Accent? Can't put my finger on it. Enjoying these tutorial playthroughs!
