I have owned this printer for a year now and Im still using the same toner cartridge although the toner is now low and I only print every now and then. I could not get the wifi connection between my laptop and the printer to work so every time I want to print I have to directly connect my laptop to the printer via a USB cable. I have other desktop PCs with ethernet cable connections to the router and these PCs have no problems printing. Overall I am happy with the print quality and for me its a big improvement on an inkjet printer as there is no ink to dry up and the print quality is a lot crisper.

I have just changed the toner after getting almost 2 years use out of the original. It was quite easy. Thanks for the video. It said the toner was low then very low then very very low for about 6 months before i had to change it.

It was not so easy for me. The app could not find the printer at all. I connected my laptop via USB and that worked but I setup a direct USB connection which seemed to have blocked the wireless connection. In the end I went through the Smart app on my laptop and eventually got the wireless connection to work but I had to delete the direct USB connection first. The flashing power button is annoying but after a day i realised you can switch it off with a long press. Why is there no simple user guide HP ?? Also there is no support for this product on the HP website, it says no longer supported.

For some HP printers, if you don't create an account, you would not be able to scan documents and some features like instant ink subscription would not work

Перед добавлением принтера в приложение необходимо перевести принтер в беспроводной режим. Используйте кнопки на панели управления принтера, чтобы восстановить режим настройки Wi-Fi. Нажмите кнопку «Меню». С помощью стрелки вправо перейдите к пункту «Сеть» и нажмите «ОК». Выберите «Wi-Fi по умолчанию», а затем нажмите «ОК».
