@@somestuff3912 I hear you. I have 12 bookshelves in my flat and books stacked on the floor. I worked out that if I wanted to read them all I would have to live until I am 110 years old. I intend to give it my best shot.😂

I don't have enough shelves for books I don' t know if I should buy a bigger bookshelf or if I should just read and give the books away after .. I don't know what to do that' s why I prefer taking books from library but I do have lots of books which were not read and I am not really keen into reading them but I want to give them a chance before giving them away . I am organizing my books that's why the ramble

is this just a me thing, or do any other very bookwormy people love the smell of new and old books?

I like both scents, but I am not fond of the texture of old books.

I couldn’t describe how much I love Ruby’s channel - not only motivating and productive, but it makes me feel better. We need to have good relationship with the objects around us in our environment. Can you please make a video on how can we make our environment (study room) in a way that it triggers cues that makes our lives more productive.

I put tiny iridescent star stickers on the lower spine of each one of the books I’ve read. It’s so satisfying to see them on my books shelves and knowing their meaning ⭐️ 📚 💫 . Also, I have bee contemplating getting a labels made with my name and a book quote to put in all of my books. I love when I purchase a used book and reading the name/inscription inside.

I have that set of Charles Dickens. I was given them 60 years ago, by our neighbours who had previously run a private lending library. Wherever I have moved to during my adult life, they have always come with me. 🙂

I collect Frances Hodgson Burnett books and I have that one too. She wrote so many other fun books too (more than one might realize), but that story is my favorite.
