@teganstan yeah right he was, mistake, but he wasn't a top star in the main roster. He was still in NXT. What I was saying in my comment up there was that Seth wanted a unique finisher. Not a rip off from Rey/Eddie or Savage and Hardy

what is straight edge ?

When Seth went "what top guy uses a move off the top rope" he meant during that time. The frog splash, as he mentioned, was not a good finish TODAY because many use it as a regular move, same thing with elbow drop. Hell, even the swanton bomb is used regularly by KO and others and that's not a finish unless it's Hardy doing it.

It's about the size of the wrestler delivering the move and it should always be like that. Darby Allin is under 200lbs so he drives his back into the recipient with velocity and it looks superb...but a top wrestler could kick out of a regular coffin drop ...All Savage had to do was drop the elbow, bam bam or Vader connects with a moonsault then the match should be over.

His straight edge origin story is kinda like kinda how I felt. Heard people talking bout drinking and smoking pot thought that shit was soooo stupid. So instead of not doing that I went a whole other route. Did much harder stuff to be different. And my whole life is a mess
