Based upon the degree of restraint I had to exert to avoid inventing some flimsy premise to correct you on, I think there needs to be a direction for jackals to begin correcting pre-corrections content as some kind of corrections-methadone

Love that Seth writes down the funny things his kids say and presents them as a gift for his wife on mother's day. I worked at a daycare center and preschool in the 90's and still have scraps of paper with funny things kids said.

I could listen to Seth for hours. As a host or as the person being interviewed, he is a great listener and conversationalist. He engages with the person he's with in an authentic way but doesn't need to make himself the center of every story. He always expresses an awareness of the many blessings he has and appreciation for the people who have helped him reach where he is. I'm genuinely happy to see him succeed and wish him nothing but the best. I could be mistaken, but I feel he's the type of person who would be just as nice speaking with a "regular" person as he is when speaking on camera with celebrities.

It’s nice to hear Seth’s voice coming from my internet tubes again. I’ve resorted to jackal-ing my local news KZread clips. Things. Are. Dire.

I thought this episode and the last one sucked. Neal seems to have forgotten the premise of the podcast and just basically and boringly interviews SNL people. I never liked SNL and could care less about hearing two episodes dedicated to fawning over it.

I’m so happy that these obscure skits Seth is bringing up are a part of the weekly ticker of SNL references in my brain

Opened app, audibly gasped, and clicked faster than I have ever clicked before. Been missing Seth so much!

Thanks for doing these. They're especially needed with talk shows off the air. You're nailing the balance of open hearted and funny. It's really helpful on a lot of levels.

Same! I'd never been a big fan of anything before, but man I miss Seth 🐾🐾

In that old picture of them together, Seth was standing next to the bong but Neal looks like he already had more than a few rips.

The friendship level here is breaking the charts. What a comfortable, heartwarming, & fun conversation... If low on Blocks.

I like Seth a lot. He was a favorite on SNL and I've watched his show forever! Hos writers Jenny and Amber Ruffin's segment "Joke's Seth CAN'T tell" is just genius!😂😂😂 "Amber say's WHAT?" is my all time absolute favorite! Ya burnt is right after that!😂

I love Seth. This is the one i have being wainting for. Need to watch it at the perfect time. I don't even make comments.

I really just needed to hear Seth’s voice. The strike is forcing me to talk to loved ones more.

This podcast idea has the most longevity.

I love just watching Neal talk to his friends and express love and gratitude for each other. It feels like we get a little window into the in-joke that are cornerstone of most friendships, that shit more intimate that watching people fuck.

Somebody on Neal's staff really puts in the hours on the graphics and editing. A top-quality podcast product. Sustainable? We'll see.

I am seeing a lot more interviews in which people are their natural selves without feeling like they need to be in character. It's refreshing.

Clips are great because Neal covers so much ground, I rarely remember them even though Ive seen the whole episodes Yah, Neal, loved the clip and of course I'm subscribed 💙

Neil’s interviewing style is very relaxed and relaxing lol

Just shows no matter the industry you will have to overcome other people's expectations and will face many challenges, inspiring!

That "still being the keyword here" joke was missed by Neal, but I see you Seth.

I want to see a comedy show from Seth Myers on parenting. When he talked about "using this calm ineffective voice and yelling at your kids in public places," that's relatable and funny. Another normal comic. Thank you. And Seth Myers' inability to dance is a block! Does he have teenagers yet, because the way he talks about his kids, doesn't sound like they've hit puberty yet. I want to hear when his kids become adolescents, a true test of the signature Seth Myers niceness.

Had no idea the level of friendship you two have - now going to go back and rewatch the interviews. Also - we miss Seth terribly. What Covid couldn’t take from us, the stupid (insert whomever the WGA is striking against?) did. Solidarity with the writers but damn, we miss you Seth.

Although it is about directing, Neal's comment about talking charades is the most apt description of teaching that I have ever heard. In 40 years in the classroom, I was guilty as charged more times than I want to admit.

1:26:44 Another reason to love Seth! I lived in Brugge from 2002-2003. We were back in the U.S. when In Bruges came out. We probably annoyed the other people in the theater. When the actors are walking around the park talking about "nooks and crannies," they walk by a playground. Spouse and I said at the same time, "They got a new playground!" We went there every day with our toddler because we were about a block away. The previous playground was wood and caused slivers. It had a super tall slide. When you climbed to the top to go on the slide, there was a toddler-sized gap between the ladder and the platform. We love In Bruges, not only for the script and acting, but for the nostalgia.

Studio 60 never got a fair shake. Those of us who were fans tend to think that it didn't really lose out to 30 Rock ... it more lost out to Friday Night Lights. (Though fair to say, if 30 rock hands existed it might have gotten a 2nd season at a different time). 30 rock and Studio 60 were not the same show. Same setting, VERY different shows. Nice to see Seth in the downtime here. Great episode!!

My favourie part of Blocks, is that no one wears headphones.

I love the Blocks podcast... feel like they scrambled a bit at the end to actually get any blocks. But I enjoyed two good friends sitting around shooting the shit about the past
