I used to have a friend who would only drink 2-3 beers or smoke 2-3 cones of sweet Mary-Jane, and every time he would constantly be mentioning how drunk or stoned he was, and acting like he'd just downed half a bottle of vodka straight. It was kinda obnoxious at times, but I didn't resent or dislike him for doing it - he was a very emotionally guarded person who found it extremely difficult to relax and loosen up, so I think by imitating the disinhibition of his peers he eventually managed to achieve a more natural state of intoxication; over time he became a less uptight and anxious person and ultimately he quit drinking - it's like he finally found the relaxed aspect of himself he'd been searching for, and no longer needed to get drunk in order to even slightly tap into it.

That was a non-trivial amount of liquor for someone of her weight, all downed in about 20-30 mins. And it take a bit for the first one to 'hit'. and then they just pile-on. Easy to predict that she'd be asleep or throwing up within 30 mins of camera wrap.

On 4th of July I blacked out at a lake and woke up in my friends house (then went back at it bc the night party was about to start) but they said they can’t tell how drunk I am ever cuz I act normal but they always know when I blackout bc I instantly go somewhere safe. In this case it was in the back of my friends car and fell asleep. In other cases I’ll be active in conversation then order an Uber and suddenly disappear

I am femme and find Seth attractive, but I wouldn't call him flirtatious. He feels like a fun girlfriend. Or a nice nonthreatening dad of your friend. He's warm without ever crossing a line. That's why I think he's so attractive! It's adorable when he cuts to credits while interviewing female guests and they clutch hands to gossip for a few minutes lol

@@Rohmash I don't think that was their point. I think they're talking about Seth's intention and overall energy. To call a married man a flirt can make it seem like he's intentionally wooing the girl he's hosting with the goal of sex in mind. (Which would be gross for many reasons.) You could absolutely read how he's acting as flirting but that doesn't mean it was his intent. Like @daniellecasale6896 said, he never crosses a line from "funny dude trying to be entertaining" to "I'm trying to make you romantically interested in me". I feel like he talks to males, who are presumably romantically inert to him, the same way. If you find him hot as balls and want to have his babies, that's totally a fine thing you can feel. If you think, "I want him to talk to me the way he talks to Dua Lipa!" while using a husky erotic voice in your head, go for it. It's just that he's not really flirting he's just trying to be likable to the guest. The problem is, that's often how dudes behave when they are trying to do the flirt. Which means it comes across as though Seth is flirting. Though I really don't feel like he is. Honestly, Dua seemed more flirty than he did, IMHO.

This is hilarious to read. I definitely read SMs body language as flirting, but that also seems to be his flavor of charm, and yes admittedly, does not mean that he’s trying to have them romantically interested or he wants to get at them. I have officially decided to use this video as part of my coping skills because it is so fucking entertaining and I felt like I was drinking (and drunk) with them…….while I was stone cold sober. Starts really ramping up in the awesomeness starting from their drinking game. He’s really taking it to the dome but he goes from being goofy him to wasted SO FAST 😂 and wasted Seth Meyer is even funnier than hilarious sober SM because he reminds me of my goofy sloppy Jewish mother after one glass. Yea. I said it.

Everyone knows that ALL the talk show hosts are jealous of Oliver all of his Emmys. But he only has to perform once a week so it really isn't a fair contest. Plus, John is so popular on HBO that they literally don't care of the costs of what he does because it just brings in more viewers and more revenue. And none of the other talk show hosts can top that. Really can't wait for clips from Seth's show with John. Gawd I wish I could see it. (If they came to Tokyo I would be there, but probably only me and few other hundred foreigners).

I believe it. I went to several late night with Conan shows when he was in NY. A guest that went streaking (I won’t name him, but let’s just say it was a long time ago and he FAMOUSLY went streaking in the movie he was promoting). I thought when stuff like that happened and it was pixelated on tv, they’d be wearing flesh colored shorts or underwear. NOPE. Completely naked in the studio lol. Not to mention Conan always would come up and talk to myself and my girlfriend at the time as we both were from his hometown and always sat in the same seats. She and I used to hang out after the shows and talk to Conan and jimmy (max had just left the show).

This was such a lovely episode and getting back to this frankly hilarious series. @jenology101 no assumptions here, I'm going off info Seth told the world. Seth talks about his family all the time on his show and in interviews. He's even talked about (and shown a picture of) how he passed out in his hallway after a previous day drinking shoot - and so now he has to get a hotel room to recover. I was not implying anything inappropriate happens with Seth & his day drinking guests, either. Just the opposite, he's obviously devoted to Alexi!

Do you really think either of these celebrities got drunk during this bit? It's television and they have their careers to protect. Meanwhile, all of us silly people believe it is two people getting hammered. Dua Lipa has a huge career, as does Meyers. I guess it is irrelevant that promoting drinking is not so cool.

I am just going to keep replaying Dua saying "boubon" over and over again.

I was literally just thinking to myself. I haven’t seen Seth do a drinking video with the celebrity lately and then boom appeared. Best segment ever.
