Set up for the Nidecker Supermatic

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I went through many different set up configurations without following the numerical notation already provided by the company, thinking it should be down right tight like any strap in system, I was wrong! The company put a lot of thought into the operation of the binding and it does take a little time to get it to a more personal taste set up. Overall you can have it on the loose side, but for me I prefer a more performance lock down without a forced entry. Takes a couple more minutes to get but it works.
If you not as flexible get a little doll rod about six inches in your pocket and it will give you that next reach for the rear foot release or lean into the uphill side on one hand and reach the rear lever with your back hand to pull the foot out. Also beware of firm icy snow that is slightly uphill while stepping out "I cut that footage out; fell on my face" but then again I can do that anytime!
Have a great holiday time & keep on Shredding!

Its good to see a detailed review. I was wondering how the adjustments for the high backs were. Thank you

Glad it was helpful! I'll be completely honest a little lacking for performance limited high back forward lean and no rotation possible to help the heelside drive! Still I enjoy the ease of putting them on but a little fiddly taking them off! When taking them off it’s best to lift the heel while the foot is in a perfect straight line with the binding with no sideways pulling!
