Remembering names had always served me well also. For Regulars at least. Check their credit card and make a cheat sheet if you need to. Sounds crazy, but I won Server of the Year for our area a few times and now own my own restaurant. I agree with everything in this video, but knowing customers by name is the cherry on top of impeccable service.
