Hi, thank you very much for sharing the video, it is very helpful. I serviced my ultegra 14000 XTD last night. Before service, when retrieving lines, the reel the handle can only be rotated clock wise. But after the service the reel handle can be rotated both clock and anti-clock wise when retrieving lines. Where did I do wrong? (By the way, I opened anti-clock mechanism by mistake, but I screw it back correctly I think.) Thanks.

Most likely that you incorrectly installed an instantaneous backstop or smeared it with improper lubrication.

Hi and respect for your job. I have a 14000 xtd spod reel and closed per accided the bail-arm with handle spinning instead of closing the bail by hand. I heard a kid of loud click noise, is that harmless or not. Idiot as I am I repeated it a couple of times. Seems like it is the bail lock for casting that is forced. Question is about possible breaking or wearing of this part. BR, david

Are there many upgrades, hotups for this reel? I don't like the drag on mine, I would trade it in and buy the XTC.

The XTD has a reducer, the drive gear of the main pair on both sides is in the bearings. At XTC only from the left of the right sleeve. On one detail more in the roller fishing line stacker. Well, the styling is slower. All other items have the same catalog numbers.

Hi Fishing world can share what is the ultegra 14000 xsd drive gear bearing size and the pinion gear front and rear bearing size.

I don't understand i reassemble mine and now the anti-reverse doesn't work anymore plz someone help me!!!😭😭

Maybe you put the wrong grease on it. Or the backstop was assembled incorrectly.

Hi guys...I have a problem, and i dont have any explanation for it. I bought 2 xsd....they r brand new, 1 mounth old...never been on rod, and mono free... When im turning handle on the first one it goes smooth, easy, like it should be...when im turning handle on the other one it doesnt go so smooth, it feels like its having resistance of some kind.... What it could be wrong with other one? Tnx a lot.

It is difficult to predict a defect in a coil. It is possible that some of the bearings jammed.
