My absolute dream job to run an ASL

Heil is a good company ..its the drivers experience and skill that shows it ... I have driven Heils , LaBrie , .. I prefer a aBrie because of the upper door can close and compress the trash for a better pack

I drive a mack asl, what is the pto switch for? Should i have it on while operating asl arm & packer?

How do you set the arm so I can do less lift arm cycles for the packer to pack not more less

change the settings on the auto pak cycle for the number of moves before pack cycle .

how do you adjust the prox sensors on the packer blade ?

You don't want the blade to extend too far into then body ..because the trash will fall behind it .. I believe it's the sensor on right .. loosen the bolts and press the PACK. Butten .. after the cycle . Make adjustment till you feel its good

have a 612-3611 dura pack, wont pack when driving and slow packer blade, any suggestions please.

Yes there are two air hoses on the pump next to the ladder. The two bottom 90 elbows get clogged and slow the packer down. Replace the elbows. Just the two bottom ones

Heil sucks the arm is to big for urban environments newway is alot better to operate

Especially when recycle carts are right next to solid waste carts…..Labrie is best

This is true the way they designed the python arm it blocks the operators view of the cart and makes it hard to work around mailboxes and other objects

Auto lift sucks and is really slow
