Service a vintage mechanical chronograph - Landeron 151
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Hi, in this video I'll service a vintage mechanical Swiss-made chronograph watch. It is running but seems not in use for years. Let's give it a full cleaning and fresh oil.
The movement is Landeron 151. Landeron would be one of the most popular chronograph movements. It is not the best quality movement in the world, but it's affordable and fun to work on.
Thank you so much for watching my video. This is non-professional work. I really appreciate your likes, suggestions, advice, and comments. Enjoy the video!

Lovely job.
Very nice work. I liked the improvised tool for the driving wheel removal. But there is some skipping when chrono function is turned on. I had similar problem with my chronographs. It may be related to the eccentric screws adjustment. They may be "frozen" though and very tough to adjust. I also had problems when put too much 1300 oil and it went beneath the clutch assembly. It made its movement sluggish, and the second hand went wild for a split-second on engagement. And - maybe - it's a weak spring which goes beneath the central second hand's pivot. Thank you for sharing good stuff again!

Thank you for sharing your advice and experience! I couldn't find the cause of the problem at that time. I'll check it again.
