Arrogance is the precursor to downfall

I met Jaya Bachchan inside a lift at the Oberoi Grand, Kolkata once sometime around 2016ish. I didn’t acknowledge her nor was I rude, just minded my own business. She seemed like any normal person to me. I think the attention given to her makes her behave very entitled. Probably start ignoring her and her tantrums will disappear?

I had aslo met Jaya Bachhan, Teji Bacchan and Shweta in the early 90s in a flight. That time Jaya Bachhan was I think the chairman of Children's Film Society of India or some such organization. Shweta was very sweet, gave eye contact and smiled. Teji Bachhan was very glamorous and looked sweet and well meaning. However Jaya Bachhan had a stern expression on her face and never gave eye contact. Off course those days celebrities were not so exposed to public and people in general were in more awe of them.
