Apparently when she transforms the Koyan S2 buff is also per target. So she can also get up to 60% gauge from her Buster card.

Sadly it didn’t work. 3 targets on Koyan S2 only give 10% (20% if double Koyan) Dev probably saw what we were cooking with U-Olga in LB7 and avoided that interaction

Maybe the devs put premiums on farmers because this is a heavy farming game but I think now that the game is saturated with that, these are the kind of servants they should be making.

And also sometimes low rarity farmer are better for party cost on CE heavy events, so there's no actual need for more SSR farmers nowadays

It's a good direction for the meta to move towards. Luxury servants should lean more towards fun gimmicks, while low rarities should serve the basic necessities like farmers, supports, and boss killers

Oh it's countless of that and having Morgan alone defeats the purpose of having other farmers in most content, hell she can even be use as a st servant depending on how you utilize her 😂

We got np color swappers like space Ishtar and emiya. Playable boss in protea. Counter unit in bazzet. Shifters like Melusine and now aoko with a form shift into an aoe np with buster cards that deal aoe damage. Reminds me of that one animation where mashu did aoe damage

@@blurb9319 well Gilles doesn't go down as fast as Hyde. But be really needed an inval and make all his cards buster to be a mini Orion. But fgo never really buffs the really bad units. Just makes an ssr version of what they could have been with heinsight

Arts and buster continue to be brother's in arms. Cool to see a card that does aoe like bosses

This is something else, Even after watching the video I am still trying to think of scenarios that are best suited for her. Aoko just looks so fun to play with and that AOE buster and extra attack is so cool. Those skills and no all sound so OP. Her design is lovely as well. Overall a fantastic edition to the game. It's great to see that the devs are still putting in good effort into making the new units fun and unique.

Aoko always was my favorite typemoon character, seeing her having such an interesting kit makes me really happy. A lot happier than i would have been if she was just another farmer ngl

I like how her Super Aoko form has red hair. It reminds me of Karna's self proclaimed 'Super' Karna form (Costume 1) with red hair. Maybe Super Bunyan will get a red-hair costume?? Thoughts?

In the nasuverse when someone transforms into a form with red hair it implies a huge influx of magical energy, akiha tohno from tsukihime also has her hair go red when she enters another form

She is bad as single core dps due go rng on first NP turn but i can see her being top tier for multicore due to targetted rainbow and charge.

Yeah, but she ruins all her charge basically. She has no charge in base form and her NP does no damage. That means the 100% battery just gets her back to neutral for multicore. Her passive then is only like 20% charge for the team over the 2 turns (and that's assuming you even get the passive for the second turn after transformation, it might only be 10%) She can't use skill 3 to give charge either, because that ruins her own charge again. You need Arash, Habetrot, Soujuurou Shizuki, etc. for her to multicore, and even then she's only ok at it.

At this point I won't pretend to be surprised if they release a servant with three NPs each with their own effects, and three different skillsets based on the three different ascensions. I don't care how they will make it work to swap from one ascension to another like Ptolemaios's 3rd skill, but they will make it happen in one way or another.

Well they did it in part with melusine and how her 3rd skill works between 1st/2nd ascension and 3rd ascension, so they have the ability to do so at least

@@crazyflare67 As busted as she is, her entire skillset doesn't change between ascensions, only her 3rd skill like Ptolemaios. Although Aoko's skillset is not tied to ascensions but a mode that actives when using her NP, it is pretty much a start. Not saying they will come more often, but they will continue to appear nonetheless.

I mean, the welfare of this event has a skill with 3 buttons that change his facecard deck. It's not so outlandish for the next SSR to have 3 buttons that change them into different modes.

I don’t think so bazett is easier to use and has more reliable gimmick. Her card damage is lower for the aoes

I've been experimenting with dual dps setups(using dps with supportive utility in their kit) recently and she seems like a perfect fit for those comps

Pretty crazy servant, love her design especially ascension 3 and her kit is nuts, also glad we got another servant that get's special invul and the fact she has aoe normal attacks gives me hope that whenever we get olga she will still have aoe attacks.

The transformation gimmick is cool and all but I kinda wish it could have been an ascension. The red hair looks so good.

On top of all the usual DPS stuff, the defensive and team-wide utility, as an arts servant, is just crazy. How many permutations of the unkillable team comp could you make with Aoko?

Suprisingly decent omni support. Give her kscope and let her be used as an overcharge for your dps. Pop s1 and just accumulate the magic bullets till turn 3. Use battery to np or use her s3 if you didn't use it on turn 1 to charge your support and dps np by 50%

Funnily enough it’s the other way around, mahoyo came out in 2012 so yeh aoko current design kinda came before shishou

What’s even less likely to happen? Me being able to transfer my full-odds Hoothoot from my 3DS version of Pokémon Crystal :/

So she's a "full potential unlocked only at np2" kind of servant

After playing with her a bit I think she's way better as a crit dps then farmer. Getting 50% attack up for a card from the bullet is way better then increasing her np damage by just 10%. And giving supports like Gogh 50 charge and 2 skill cooldown is too good to pass. So I found myself not using her damaging np much because of aoe buster crits.

@@muratticugaratti1571 She can do van Gogh boosted crits to the whole enemy team. That is completely unique to her. She also doesn't want to be attacking every turn necessarily, so she can build up more Bullets since they don't have a duration. This means waiting for her single Buster isn't that big a deal. She's a hybrid DPS-Support that enables her teammates so she herself can then do big damage as needed. Save her Extra/NP for a turn where you need lots of damage, otherwise use her Buster when it comes up and her Arts as needed to help with NP gain for herself and her teammates on facecards. Just first impressions, it'll take time to see where she really shines the best.

Don't picture her third super skill as she losing 100% of her NP gauge, picture it as she having a third Noble Phantasm because why not

If I did my math right, you should be able to 3T farm with Arash if you swap a koyanskaya for Aoko. Please, someone test this! T1 - Normal Aoko s3; koyan1 s3; arash (w 50% ce) s3; Normal Aoko np + arash np T2 - Super Aoko s2 + s3 (arash s3 -2T cooldown); koyan s1 (arash s3 -2T cooldown); arash np, can use s3 next turn T3 - plugsuit oberon s1 + s2 + s3; arash s3; arash np

Basically normal Aoko is for support while super Aoko is dps mode right? xD

I think she falls in the "jack of all trades, master of none" category, can have some interesting uses but for those who want utility and with the current state of the game, there are already many better options than her A fun servant neverthless

I'm not sold on her yet. I'll see what people do with her in the future

They should focus on making a normal attacker servants that can do either aoe like aoko or powerful attacks like super Orion there's only few servants that have some unique gimmicks and most of the servants are braindead aoe arts or aoe buster units 🥴

They don't reset but they also don't go higher in cooldowns even though Super Aoko skills are higher on cooldowns so it's still pretty cool.

I have a funny feeling that Aoko took some lessons with most recent 5*s in Genshin and HSR (or some gacha games to some extent) You need multiple copies of her (base and 1 copy) to improve her niche, which is Buster and Extra. Impressive yes, but mostly niche in many situations if you have one copy. There are workarounds, but the trend stays.

To many aoe np types in fgo she's great but aoe np weighs her down.

She's unique, so it's really hard to say. If you have van Gogh, she is insane because she can do Buster crits to the entire enemy line, while also partially enabling van Gogh with her Skill 3. Outside of van Gogh teams, it will take some time to get a feel for her, similar to Aesc/Tonelico/Summer Morgan (whatever you want to call her).

Given the meta is mostly for farming, avoid her as a meta player. She is useless as a looper, and if she has a notable multicore use I haven't found it yet (albeit it has only been less than 24 hours since she released) As a support and crit DPS she look quite decent and definitely is interesting, but again, nothing that helps much in farming (she gives more damage buffs and NP charge than BB or Santa karna if you want to loop the few that need debuff immune like Tammy cat, but that's the only "meta" use I can find for her)

Well, she has an interesting and unique skillset, but when it comes to utility and DPS she's pretty average Even japanese say it's better to just use her base form if you don't have her at NP3 or higher because her super form struggles with farming

The 3rd ascension should've been her Red Shift form...
