[Serum Tutorial Request] Creating randomized Darkpsy/Hitech leads

Музыка

I got a request from Jagadisan S on re-creating a patch i made in Sylenth but using Serum, Pigments or Vital. Haven't featured Serum that much in my videos so I thought it would be a good idea to showcase the approach using this trusty VST for a change.
AutoPlay can be bought here: gumroad.com/l/autoplay
Note On Random can be bought here: gumroad.com/l/toUbv
00:00 Intro
1:24 Explaining as I go how to create the patch
5:10 The fundamentals are done, rest is just further tweaking and variations
06:06 Further tweaking and testing other FX
07:31 Showing off the patch with Beat Repeat
09:29 Trying some filter movement
12:30 Adding more FX to show the capabilities in context with the actual track

You're welcome =) Hope it sparks some inspiration. If you have a lot of Single Cycle Tables and don't know what to do with them, you can input these as frames in a new wavetable and create your own weird combinations for further variety. But sometimes, basic shapes and pitch modulation is enough ;)

@@josenarro8849 You're welcome. What the arpeggiators often lack is a probability for the time division selector which is what makes stuff like AutoPlay/Acolyte/Rhythmizer/GridFather and so on unique. I am sure you will find Acolyte a great addition to your VST roster =)

Hey! Not quite yet BUT he is working on Gridfather which is basically a 2-in-1 VST version of his plugins AutoPlay and AutoGrid. You should be able to use that one in other daws than Ableton =) kzread.info/dash/bejne/lq2ij9mdYcLRlrw.html

@@DymentiD I can't remember, I think it was from the Mudra pack but it could also have been from his Psytrance Bass vol 1 pack as well. I have already freezed & flattened the bass to audio and chucked them into a Drum Rack so I can't go back and check. It was his preset with my processing, that's all I can remember haha

@@sergenity Ah okey well, i don't know exactly how to program stuff but afaik the Autoplay works on time-allocation so the percentage value corresponds to how much of that time division it will play over a certain set of time.
