Hello Rob LOVE the videos!! Question on the RLL with the 110 click does the "One" rotate from the R on the first loop, then the First L on the second loop then the last L on the third loop, then back to the R on the fourth loop, may be a stupid question, but I'm finally playing to the click after years of refusing to!, Thanks in Advance!..

I have yet to try these exercises, but absolutely everything recommended by Rob - including investing in a practice pad and actually using it lots! - has transformed my drumming. I can do things now that I truly believed only 'real' musicians could do. So grateful, as I had almost given up, but now I get so much pleasure from playing and feeling like I'm making real progress. 🤩

WOW !!! YOU ARE A VERY GOOD TEACHER ! This is one of the most PRACTICAL / USEFUL drill videos if not the Most important, I think it is !!! ( for us ,beginners )Also the camera work is very very good !👍👍👍 Many drum channels show the teachers's hands from the front ,but from a distance & set at a lower eye level than they should ,or too far away that doesn't help the beginners at all ! Also the speed of the double strokes ,or 5 strokes so on they are playing is too fast for us , the beginners ,or people who are just curious of drums/ drummers to watch & undersatand ( especially w/ accents ! ) .They have to show their hands clearly !!!Whether ,from the front ,or sides ,or also from above will be good ! I started drumming last spring ,but because of my friend/ teacher's schedules & my personal things & then this corona pendemic / lockdown ,I haven't been to his studio to play his drumms for a real loong time now ! I got no drum kit of my own. But,I've been practicing on my pad everyday ! This is a GREAT excercise that I'll start today ! Also ,I have been wondering if I should learn & play w/ one traditional grip & one match grip ! I am not trying to be a jazz drummer ,though I've grown up w/ jazz & both semi pro & professional jazz musicians around ! But, I wanna be flexible ! I just subscribed to your channel ! I have watched several videos of yours before ,but this one got me decided to !Thank you so much for this video !💜💜🥁🎵🐉🎤🎶💖💞Please stay safe !P.s.also ,the alternating hands is very important ! I have been doing so.

I love your teaching style! You are humble, solid, relaxed and inspiring as all get out! I've played 52 years, (studied at Rutgers in the 70's-80's with Michael Carvin) and in the process of learning we sometimes forget technique over time. YOU have inspired me to start steady practice again and tune up that lopsided limb(s)! I'll check in with you in 3 months with "butter-smooth" execution!!! Also, love the way you address both grip styles. I am inspired to simultaneously learn better matched grip, as it is good to have both tools in the bag.
