drone footage was good….especially the part where the water was falling up the waterfall, must be some powerful sort of drone camera that one!

I loved that place apart from almost stepping on the biggest black snake I've ever seen! Scared the beejezuz out of me. Then went for a swim at the Falls, only to come (literally) face to face with a water monitor as I went to climb out of the pond. The water almost went brown! 😂

No winging but I'm sick of this permits changes closed tracks. We do not have to go where everyone else is going and I do not fill sorry for the camping ranger or track why because they anyway are going to get their subsidies from the government. They keep forgetting that is you us that we spending money and to spend you have to be offered or attracted by something not given direction and place where to do what and be robbed for something that belongs to everyone.I know there's a road maintenance and machinery but pretty much nothing new has been developed. For example that trailer of rubbish where is going to be dumped they're not going to drive 100s of km somewhere to be disposed. After covid caravanning got popular a lot and now they charge arm and a leg for camp-site and there's less and less free sites.

I don’t think it’ll change much for to long,it won’t matter what they do and how much money they spend on sealing the road, give it a couple of wet seasons and a few hundred road trains and it will be back to normal. It’s considered too remote and not enough population to warrant substantial ongoing maintenance and development. No difference to the PDR to the Cape a good idea in principle but unrealistic at current population levels to maintain.

Some people love to test their expensive equipment on this road & sealing it would take the"charm", sense of adventure & "authenticity" away as well as bringing too many people here. But bringing people here might might it worth sealing...& maybe preserving.
