My first thought was an SS buckle, because you'd have to be quite bold to wear that in public (at least in Germany), but a strap-on would be even better. Something big and rainbow-coloured. :D

I love how Kerry takes every task so seriously meanwhile Phil dresses like that.

I really would've loved to see James and Jess on a team. They think very much alike (like the first two prize tasks, and their stories) and they are my favorite contestants maybe of all series.

I think the greatest task was also this series: in Episode 10, involving rope and boiler suits

I love Greg's face every time after James's circle attempts. Then the outburst later on kills me every time when he tries to argue Rhod's circle! "How dare you even speak!"

"Banana Whoops" would be an excellent description of Phil Wang's outfit.

All the bullying they do to Alex is really put into perspective when you realize he's the show creator and Davies is just the points giver.

This cast shares 1 brain cell among them, and I love it.

The haggling bit is the funniest thing ever, and it works shockingly well as a recurring bit. “He said fifty pounds, I said thirty, he said fifty, I said forty… so I paid fifty pounds…”

Both teams had the option to say: "Right" And they chose to say banana

Easily my favorite series of this show, Acaster and Rhod just bring a level of manic insanity to every task that's wildly appreciated, honestly though everyone here is phenomenal

when James said the episode title I lost it, like the kind of laugh that doesn't make any noise because you’re laughing so hard, the delivery, the prefix, and the twinkle in his eyes really did it for me

So sad to hear the CW run was already cancelled. PLEASE don't stop uploading here! We need it more than ever in the States.

I think if you’re going to give Rhod the to-scale circle-on-a-map, then you also have to consider the map projection, which would make what he drew very much not a circle. If he was going to be a clever boy, he should have just drawn a straight line along the equator

This show in America definitely doesn’t belong on CW. It feels like an NBC show to me. That, and there was no advertising whatsoever. I didn’t even know it aired here and failed till 5 minutes ago

There's been an American version and it was pretty hopeless. The show is so insanely funny because the comedians are incredibly crap at everything and happy to laugh at their own crappiness, which is sort of the opposite of American humor. If NBC (or another major channel) would do it, they would make a it a variation of gladiator meets America's got talent meets stand-up, and all the fun would be immediately gone.

@@cheers4life100 I didn't know who any of these people were, and I started watching Taskmaster with season 7 - and all of these five really grew on me. The beauty of the show is that you get to know the contestants quite well over the course of the season. It's certainly a far more insightful view into them than watching a 5-minute clip on a random panel show.

The fact that Greg has started restating the basic instructions of the live task in what is clearly his teacher voice is hilarious to me. It's the voice I've used for basic, unambiguous instructions that I just *know* are about to be entirely disregarded.

James: My eyes are circles. Rhod: He has a point...

Just like Alex Horn, sometimes I too confuse the words "happiness" and "cannibalism."

I have ADHD like our charming boi Rhod and love to analyze stuff, so let me itemize and assess his attractive traits: 1. His ADHD traits. While some people find them initially exciting but eventually annoying, I personally am drawn to other ADHD folk because many of us are creative, spontaneous, risk-seeking, fun, funny, adventurous, etc. Rhod is certainly all of those things. For neurotypical people, I imagine that we also give off a sense of being something different than "normal" humans, and if you like us that could seem awe inspiring or intimidating in an arousing way. 2. His nationality/ethnicity. Straight up, the Welsh accent is very sexy to my Midwestern US ear. It's got a lovely singsong quality to it. I think it's also very attractive to see confidence in an underdog. Me too, right from the start they did so much to entertain us

"How dare you even speak" gets me every time, what a great episode

The fact that the points were awarded to the group up the line 1 2 3 4 5 in the prize task and backwards 5 4 3 2 1 in the first proper task is sooo satisfying

Watched this episode last night with my dying patient whose ten word story deserves ALL the points. "Beyond the gate is a green meadow and new beginning." Thanks for the laughter, irreverence and cheekiness. Thought I'd share a tear with you.

Thursday used to be Jenna Marbles upload day, now it's taskmaster upload day

i love the bit phil does in the beginning of every show, where he haggles with someone and always ends up paying the persons original price

I've seen the garage door incident so many times that I'm always tripped out by watching the men's other team tasks and seeing James and Rhod actually working well together

As an American I'd just like to say, this show's gonna be a cult hit here as well, just a matter of timing and the right media provider! :D

I thought the same thing when they announced The CW was going to air it. They took it off after 1 episode. I hope they bring it back, I love this show and it needs to be seen by more people.

I love James, but have to admit it's fun watching the Taskmaster take the piss out of him. lol

Very few shows makes me “ooo”, “ahhh” and applaud as if I’m among the studio audience. What a blessing Taskmaster is.

I also wave at Alex when they go in and out of commercials (which I really wish youtube would sync with their commercials because it's unsettling to watch the show go in and out of commercial and then about three minutes later get the commercials on youtube. Totally messes with my head)

The women doing the painting task were so wholesome and supportive, looked like they were having great fun. This is one of those tasks I’d genuinely enjoy doing myself at home 😂

I watched the premiere of Season 8 on TheCW and after watching 6 seasons on KZread it was weird having the curses bleeped

My first thought for the prize task was: "Oh, someone is going to bring a belt sander!". I think this show may have started to affect my brain.

Well at the very least Jess is the right kind of insane. Not the chaotic evil type, just more like the chaotic good type. She's funny, That airhorn impression is spot on. 😂

They got pulled off American telly this week due to low figure on the FIRST episode. Tweet @thecw and tell them they messed up

To be fair, they picked a really weird series to start on. I feel like if they had done series 1 or one with some names Americans were likely to recognize it would have had a much better chance :(

I love Rhod Gilbert's reaction to Acaster's "My eyes are circles?" argument, like... "Well, he's got a point there."

It took me watching this episode multiple times to realize James thought "sweep a circle" meant sweep as in achieving multiple in a row.
