This video is worth Gold. As a Cuban American I always remember going to the gym in Cuba and we all talked about Sergio Oliva. What a great Person.

Sergio had he lived in modern times with modern drugs, diets and training he would be a 20 or 30 time Mr Olympia winner. I don't think anyone would be able to beat Sergio sr had he competed nowadays. They should model the Olympia throphy after Sergios victory pose.

@@Boddah.In the beginning was The Myth, and only the worthy were named in part after the daddy, including the phenomenal Lee Priest. Sergio Oliva is the only bodybuilder with the nick name ‘The Myth’.

The structure is incredible and produces a wild effect. Jumbo wide shoulders, arms so long that his elbows meet at his hip bones and so heavily muscled even down to his wrists that when he raises them for a double biceps they look like wings. Everybody else looks narrow or boxy next to him even if they are more defined. I’ve been lifting for 50 years and it’s still amazing. The Myth!☮️

His muscle density and maturity is insane.

Sergio looked the part day in day out, year in year out....never out of shape. Even in 2012 he looked like a Mr. Olympia. The Myth....the greatest ever.

Sergio Oliva is the best bodybuilder\poser of all time. All bodybuilders copies his moves. Arnold S. copied all his moves and there's nothing to be ashamed of. Look at the command \swagger he brought to the house. Utterly astonishing. I don't care if you have 10 Sandows Sergio O is the best to ever do it. THE GOAT ! I am absolutely shocked at what I just saw. I've always heard SO was robbed of titles he should've had but I just figured whatever...now that I saw this video, unbelievable. Arnold has received all the credit and endorsements etc. but it was SO who is the cornerstone of bodybuilding. He sits alone. WOW !

I met Sergio at the Arnold Classic - one of the most gracious men I have ever met - The Myth - the greatest of all time, the small waist and the mass is unmatched, even today - could you imagine a 20 yr old Sergio using the pharmaceuticals they use today - it wouldn't even be close - his genetics are beyond belief, he was most certainly gifted in that category like no other!

He is a legend - made me goosebumps. I‘ve seen him in 1981 at a professional contest in germany/Essen. I stand close to him behind the stage (I was just 16 years old). I‘ll never forget this moment.

As i saw this bodybuilder till years ago, he was top-class. And a great guy. I think, due to maybe some back-games, he is so underrated. He has the physique and the posting. He is a legend. Like all the late 70 s-80s bodybuilders.

He may have lost the competition. But he won the show that night. That crowd was lit.
