I can never get enough of Serena's confidence. Her tennis career is a reminder to never allow the opinions of naysayers change your course and how you feel about yourself. She is the GOAT and such an inspiration.
Serena (and her sister Venus)definitely made history. Personally, I loved seeing her and her sister wearing beads and braids in their early years. It shows representation. I knew she had a fashion line back in the day (and one today), but I had no clue that she studied fashion and learned to sew. That's pretty cool that she was so dedicated to multi-task by learning fashion, and do school while playing tennis and traveling all over the world. She's definitely multitalented and hardworking. I also love that she was hands on with what she wanted to wear and didn't allow any to change her mind. The denim tennis skirt was very cute and I love that bedazzled strap. Another thing sewing her bra into her shirt smart.
this woman is the absolute embodiment of the word 'excellence'.

I LOVE BLACK MEN. WHY DIDN'T SHE MARRY ONE?
How did you not include the short black cat suit?? That was one of her most talked about tennis outfits. Other than that, loved seeing her take a walk down memory lane...she really is a fashion icon.

I love her ability to acknowledge her greatness and accomplishments in such a matter of fact way. She’s very lovely with the way she embraces herself and knows her importance in her sport and in society as a whole. She gives so many women permission to not play small.

Some play the game. Others change it. Thank you Serena Williams ❤
I am so glad they included the Cameroon outfit. One of the most iconic looks in sports history. 🇨🇲 She looked stunning in the blonde braids, and ofc played amazing as well.
I admire this woman so much, such a strong, powerful, loving, and takes no BS mentality. She’s so beautiful inside and out!

I agree. And the very reasons many of us like Serena--her now unapologetic power, strength, and take-no-BS stance--are the reasons some others dislike her. In their tiny minds, they think people like Serena should be content with simply being included and should not insist on being heard or being treated fairly.

Say what you want about Serena, but she revolutionized the game of tennis with her sister Venus. Two LEGENDS who I admire dearly!! They're such inspirations!
the way Serena is literally a living legend... she will be spoken of for decades to come... true icon
The light inside of her shines so bright. I love her confidence and her radiant smile.
That was fun to watch, but how can you do one of these and not mention the US Open 2002 catsuit!? Literally the most iconic tennis outfit of all time.

Forgot how good her fashion was and still is. Thank you, Serena. And the signature ...

the way this was released right as i was trying to find videos of this queen 😩
I have never been a sports-minded person, but I remember screaming every summer watching Serena play with my grandmother. The hours I spent watching her break record after record in the most beautiful outfits became my happy place throughout my childhood. I will always strive to reach her level of pure excellence.

I love her personality it seems like she's down to earth and very gorgeous 😁

Loved working on this! Amazing video and amazing crew!
I think this is the first time I've ever heard her talk at length like this. Lovely interview.
Such an amazing icon of LIFE. She really did change and set the fashion in the tennis world. I can mark time in my life to these photos. Thank you Serena. There's a love my mom and I share for you that helped us transcend a very difficult time. You truly are the greatest! (And I'm a Venus fan.lol)
What a great personality! Wow, what you miss when you only "get to know" heroes through press conferences, or stressed out matches. She's a true appreciator of culture. And so heartfelt and expressive about her love for and loss of Virgil Abloh.
What a lovely lady, she has such a great sense of humour and is positive in every way 🧡🧡
I love her! So relatable and down to Earth.
Love how she said "My friend Megan married Harry" iconic.

Truly a stunning and inspiring woman. Not to mention a living legend. 💕✨
The best “life in looks” I have ever seen
2002 Us Open Puma Catsuit not being included is criminal. That broke the all the rules in tennis!
I loved this and learned so much about her involvement in and passion for fashion (sorry about the rhyme 🙄). She’s always been amazing on the court, but her looks off the court are equally amazing. What a true icon 🙌💗🙌
I remember being amazed by her and her sister when I was a little kid. To me then when I thought of a tennis player I thought of a white guy. It shocked me when my mum pointed them out, I thought just wow! Changed my whole perspective
No one will ever do it like Serena ❤️ We love you girl. Vogue please keep up with the Serena content 🙌🏼
Such fun! So many iconic moments 👏🏻
She slayed all the looks Edit : thanks for the 33 likes 👍😀 💕
I never knew serene has knowledge about fashion, these is a plus to her beautiful career 💪🏽🥰
A queen. An inspiration. An icon. Strength. Grace. Beauty inside and out. Our Champion, Serena! 🤩🤩🤩
Shout out to the Protea placement at the back 🇿🇦, the symbolism is layered and apt ✨
Anyone else noticing how each of these ends up with a significant tribute to either Virgil or Karl
i always read about iconic legends in the past such as The Beatles and wonder what it must have been like to be around to view their achievements. I am happy to say I was around to witness the greatness of Serena and Venus Williams and how they changed sports.

Fascinating that she can play tennis in front of many thousands of people in amazing outfits, but she actually was nervous walking a runway for a friend!
They're all iconic
I miss you already Serena. I guess I'll have to watch your matches over and over.. what an inspiration.
“When Megan married Harry” that sounds like it could be the title of a great romcom! “That’s how I met Virgil Abloh” sounds like a great name for a Virgil Abloh documentary.

Third photo is Serena at Indian Wells in 1999, when she beat Graf in the final (and wore a knee patch), not the US Open (although dress the same)
Serena could talk for hours and I would just sit and listen. Her voice is therapeutic

They should've included her Olympics 2012 look.
I LOVE HOW SHES SO DOWN TO EARTH 🌏
So proud of Serena and Venus, they really had to fight hard to get as far as they did. Respect
Should've included her 2015 Australian open outfit, it was the moment!
The pic for the 1999 U.S. Open is not at the U.S. Open. It’s instead at Indian Wells. She wore that dress a lot that year.
🙏🏽❤️ Love all you’ve accomplished and the inspiration you’ve been to other girls.
the US Open dress (third outfit) was NOT that dress. that dress was in march 99. cmon vogue. and the us open dress that was mentioned was in 2001 NOT 2002. wtf.

Our GOAT. Multi-talented n well-rounded. Their Mother influenced their fashion. She sewed watching her Mother. Her and Venus designed. Venus would go into designing.
