Yes, but to be clear, Russia does not do things like that. It only targets military infrastructure. Civilian casualties that may result from that are unfortunate collateral damage. NATO had no reason to bomb the embassy, but no one was ever held accountable. Beyond criminal.

It was Yugoslavia. The so called defense alliance NATO on March 24, 1999 started the 78-day bombings of Yugoslavia without the authorization of the UN Security Council. Among NATO's targets were houses and apartment buildings, schools, hospitals, and even kindergartens, while the weapons deployed included missiles containing depleted uranium and cluster bombs. And they called this humanitarian intervention bombing. The main goal I suspect was to break it up into smaller countries so they can fight each other like the Middle East so NATO can divide and rule.

When people in countries feel threatened enough, they will support their country’s accession to NATO and gain protection of over 3 million soldiers from various countries. When you give countries a reason, don’t be surprised when they join NATO, it’s better than the nuclear option. Finland paid the price of neutrality in the form of a large army, but they realized that even after maintaining neutrality, a certain larger country next door was constantly making historical imperialist claims to their land and so they went and joined NATO.

Imagine what would happened if NATO had done this now in 2024.

While still being Yugoslavia it had right to try pervent it..Legaly referendum has not been done in Bosnia neither Croatia and they did so with a reason cos there were still more Srbs and voting would be for nothing..So the main goal was persecution of Srbs once more and you did it. But those people had every right to pick up arms cos events they endured in WW(like Jasenovac) traumatised them for generations and you cant comolain about that if you are human. Not to mention that Srb army liberated Croatia in WW specialy in 1st..So its like with people in life whome you help and they look you later even worse for some reason.

And it was ilegaly so it was a crime, Croatia and Bosnia never held referendums, cos half of population were Srbs so voting would be in vaine. They surrounded military barracks in Croatia and attacked JNA for days, you can look it up. So legaly JNA had every right to try maintain order, not to mantion that Srbia liberated croatia in WW1 and partly in WW2..so its classic story of terrible injustice

But due to malfunctions, the bomb's safety manual prevented it to explode and completely destroyed the wreckage and since it is a "one time only operation" it is considered a failure.
