Probably the most entertaining synth reviews I've seen on YT. Props.

This is a seriously intriguing synth. Clearly looking to muscle into that Sub37 market, and it's really bringing the heat. I may have to get one of these.

I have the SE model. I can spend all day just creating new patches. Can do some crazy stuff with the Pro 3. Like setting the 3rd oscillator to LOW FREQ and using a wavetable to modulate something like the filter cutoff, then modulate the SHAPE MOD of the 3rd VCO with a LFO. So you get an ever changing wave to modulatir the cutoff. It's just crazy. No other hardware synth can do this.

This is like a multipack of crisps. Only better.

God damn it sounds good. Features wise it's about everything I'd want out of a mono as well. Damn

Please do a Sequential P6 vs OB6 review

I’ve been dying for an AS-1 with keys. This is that and a whole lot more. Damn. Three filters? Four envelopes? Huge matrix? This thing is stupid.

The wavetable OSC is a nice idea. Otherwise I see no reason to abandon my MatrixBrute for the Pro-3.

That filter overdrive sounded a bit weak? The overdrive on my Peak's filter colours a basic mono saw quite a bit when cranked.

I really like the distortion circuit in the Pro-2. It gets nasty! The 3 is a posh offering compared to some of the other stuff that's been popular lately. If you like to sequence, this is pretty hot.

Politics of it aside, this is a fully cutting edge, top of the line modern mono synth with all the bells & whistles we could hope for in 2020. The Poly D is yet another Minimoog clone with just a couple of additional features that are only cutting edge when viewed in the context of a decades-old synth. I can almost guarantee you'll get a ton more mileage out of the Pro 3 than the Poly D. At the very least, it's definitely capable of producing a much wider range of sounds. Cost is gonna be the only downside. Poly D is half the price of the Pro 3. But it looks like it would be money well spent.

If you could run the filters in series / parallel I’d have bought it in a heartbeat. Or better yet, in stereo. Which synth with multiple filters doesn’t have that option?

Pro 3 is a "Take 5" on 'roids

Pro 2 aesthetically looks better

@@Art-zs6sl All synths should have a bigger cutoff knob. Rest of my Sequential gear has same knob for every parameter. In fact I want a full-sized car steering wheel for my Pro-3 - then I can really over-emphasize the turning of it during KZread jams.
