Septarian Nodules, what's inside and why?

Is it a dragons egg? an alien dropping? what causes these amazing crystals to form?
have a look through my collection at all the different types you can find.
email me all your questions and requests or if you want to buy crystals from me.

If I have the time, with diamond polishing pads on a grinder polisher. Takes some time and patience though

They can be all manner of colours depending on the minerals they formed in. We have some great specimens out in the UK wilds

I was told that I have one- its huge and ugly- a foot and a half in diameter and I make my son carry it because its just too heavy. However, mine has protruding veins, not sure how to identify it, have been considering cutting it open

I wouldn't, you might ruin it, they do have protruding veins sometimes, depends which is softer the rock or the crystal veins.
