I definitely relate to the whole 'not feeling like you belong/have something you're good at' thing. I'm slowly trying to do different things and try stuff that is out of my comfort zone in hopes that I can find something I genuinely enjoy doing! I hope the both of us will find something 🥰

I relate to feeling like there’s no one thing that I’m super talented at. But I’m trying to learn that thats ok, that there is still value in trying new things and doing hobbies which I may not be amazing at but bring me joy and fulfillment. I hope you are able to explore many more new things and discover that feeling for yourself, I believe in you Hana!💜

Hana, you don’t have to be GOOD at the things you do… just do them because you enjoy it 💕 if you have expectations to be really really good at the things at a hobby in order to „find something you’re good at / where you belong“ you are tainting your experience… talking from experience 🥲 belonging comes naturally and at a later stage

I have been doing various activities such as watercoloring, reading, walks or hiking. I definitely do not have passion for any but I think if we get so fixated that we have to be burning on passion on what we do we won’t enjoy anything. So sometimes i start painting sometimes i like the end product and sometimes I don’t and that’s okay. Cheers on your journey Hanna and hopefully you find something that brings you joy :)

Hi Hana! I have definitely felt the way you have about not being particularly good at stuff. But I can definitely tell you, you are a good KZreadr and that in itself is an amazing and hard skill. You know how to talk to the camera and engage with your viewers and make fun vlogs for us to watch. Not everyone can do what you do, even if you feel like there are other “better” youtubers out there. And most of the people in the world are not youtubers at all haha. So, you are indeed unique, talented, and I love watching you! Also, idk if this is something you’re already interested in, but you are really great at reviewing lipsticks and doing swatches so that could be a specialty!

Hey Hana, I enjoy watching your vlogs and vicariously traveling on your adventures. I honour compassion to what you've mentioned about feeling accomplished in something notable. This was something I struggled with and it guided me to learn about my self-esteem and self-respect. I've learned to embody the principles of living purposefully, being true to myself, consciously living (mindfulness), and owning self responsibility as a forms of raising my self esteem. In regards to self-respect I''m honing the abilities of being true to myself, not comparing myself to others, doing more of the things I enjoy and love, honouring kind gestures to others, and loving myself unconditionally without judgment. I accept that life is an inward journey of navigating with what feels truest to our hearts and in alignment with our souls. It shan't be found externally, as most external things are temporary, and well, life is rather long lasting. :) I genuinely appreciate how authentic and sincere your shares are. I generally care to see content that is unique and original and I like that yours isn't over glamorized. Please don't feel pressured to change based off of others' content and images. That'd be unfair to you, and not very kind. :( I hope you the very best in your endeavors and may you celebrate all your small successes as great things are walked with small steps and eventually become grand achievements. In honourment of you, take care! Bye, bye.

I always love your videos, your honesty and your sweet vibes. I think you're really good at filming videos and editing them, not everyone is that good ,I love your simple style plus you film in public so confidently, I could never 🥲! Also trying new things is a very nice idea and it's OK feeling like you're not good at something at the moment, you will definitely find this. I was feeling like that too and I recently started playing the guitar again and started learning German by myself. I want to say that you're super duper good at expressing your feelings and your thoughts which makes a lot of people Relate or feel less alone. You are relatable and down to earth which makes you special ✨️ btw you looked fire in your cute outfit!

I can totally relate! It's like you're a little bit of everything but not really SUPER good at one thing. Not that it's bad, but it kind of feels like you just wanna excel in something that you can be so so proud of!! But I think if there's anything you are good at... that's knowing how to relate with your viewers 💖 KZreadrs can be as creative as they can be, with editing and stuff but not everyone can actually relate to their viewers on a personal level! And I feel like you are that to us. 💖 I always look forward to watching you speak your mind because I just know you're full of wisdom!

I’ve always had the same issue - that I had no special skill or talent, or burning passion for anything - and I used to feel a lot of pressure about it. While it’s still a feeling that comes up sometimes, I’ve sort of accepted that I’m a person who will be into something for a little bit and then move on and that’s ok. Lately, rather than trying to look for something that I excel at (bc honestly it just leads to my quitting hobbies quickly) I’m trying to look for something that I really enjoy. And it’s actually kind of relieving to just be average and not be trying to be great. Just doing it when I like to and bc I like to. My advice is to find people (irl or online) that you think are cool/hot/fun/etc and then pick up the hobbies they have, even if you think you’ll suck. Hope you find something this year x

Lol the "no hobby" thing is so relatable. I work, hang out with friends and try places to eat, but i have not found a "passion" either. Currently giving running a try, and although I like how i feel after....can i say i enjoy it? probably not 😝

I think that the way you record and edit your videos to be simple- makes you a super relatable person to watch and I think that's what you're talented with (if you consider that a talent) :) Personally, I don't relate to KZreadrs who makes the most "cinematographic"/artsy vlogs, like sure there's a place for that visual story telling, but I think most people, just connect more to the more freely, casual and personal content :) And your videos are just a joy and engaging to watch

This!! 🙌🏻 Before, I would lean towards using warmer tones like peachy and brick colors but I realized that it makes my face look dull. I wasn’t also fond of trying pink shades since I thought it wouldn’t look natural on me. When I started to watch Korean makeup reviews and tutorials, I took the chance to try out cool/neutral pink shades. It does make a difference. My skin looked more glowy and bright when I started using cool/neutral shades.

I feel you on that the hobby thing, but I think it's important that as long as your enjoying whatever hobby you choose to do, it doesn't matter if you're good at it or not. You can always try to look for smaller non-expensive hobbies to start off~ (coming from someone who spends too much on new hobbies that I stop after a week..)

Hey Hana--hope Haku is okay. Did the vet do a fine needle aspirate on the bumps to determine what it was? My dog has more than 5+ lumps and every time she gets a new one, we take her in to do a fine needle aspirate which looks at the cells inside the lump to determine whether they are benign or malignant. More often than not they're fatty lipomas which are not dangerous and are usually left alone unless it impedes their movement.

Hey @hana lee I can really relate. But I've come to accept that I am just not a very task-oriented person. I.e. I don't have the discipline/focus/passion to really work at a craft until I'm v good at it. Sure, I can pick things up that I enjoy and do relatively good at it, but I'm not motivated to be better at it everyday, or to be the best at it in the field. On the other hand, I see myself as a more people-oriented/thoughts-oriented person. So I hang out with the people that I like to hang out with, and I care for the community in my own capacity. I read up on topics that I enjoy and I ponder about them. Even if I may not keep an active blog that shows that I'm an expert in anything, I know that I know stuff. And I can tell you are also a more people-oriented person, and that's why you have such a large following who just relate to you :) So don't worry about it -- sometimes it's easier when we accept who we are and learn how to live life the fullest in our way, rather than trying to be someone whom we're not. Because who is to say that a particular way of living is better than another, as long as we are not doing harm to the community, and we are contributing good in our own way 🌸💕 and you are already doing something extraordinary in your own way, even if you don't recognise it ;)

i have always been insecure about not having a hobby and i feel like im not talented, i also get super excited about certain things and then lose interest and quit. from reading the comments it seems pretty common but yea i still understand what u mean, it can feel annoying. maybe just try tons of activities and see what sticks. maybe once you're body is ready, see if you like any physical activities that have beginner group classes (pole dance, ballet) or something like rock climbing? it seemed like you loved dance class! don't pressure yourself if you don't feel like you don't have an "artsy" personality, art should be fun too and you can do crafty activities and see what you like (floral arrangement, knitting, sewing your own clothes, collage, digital art) also idk if u have noticed it but it seems like u are passionate about fashion! maybe lean into that! (i watch mina le, moderngurlz, hautelemode and have the vogue runway app and follow personal stylists-all this stuff ends up feeling like a fun hobby!)

There are some people who are very passionnate about certains things and kind of only do that very intensely, when there's other people who are more interested in many things at the same time... It's either you're 100% into one thing or 50,10,20,20% in a lot of things, if that make sense 😂the world is a balance 🤗

The clothes and makeup go hand in hand though. If your clothes are cool-toned, bright colors, your makeup should also be cool-toned. It may not match or look cohesive, unless you tend to wear less color and more neutral clothing.
