It's the middle movement that gets me. So beautiful...sublime.

조성진씨 의 피아노 음색은 신기해요. 가벼운듯 무게가 있고 또박또박한듯 부드럽고 튀는 음색이 개구장이 같으면서 우아해요.

시향을 빠지지 않고 다녔던 기억이 난다 피아노 선율에 빠져서 내 귀를 호강시키고 감동을 받던 젊은시절은 이제 환갑의 나이를 맞이했다 연륜이 쌓여도 늘 들을때 마다 새로운 감동을 주는것이 클래식음악이 아닐까?

I keep coming back to this to play the 2nd movement - it helps me relax when feeling tense. This young man is a delight to watch play. I love his facial expressions especially at the point when he looks at the camera with a gentle nod and a cheeky grin - the best part of the piece. He seems to say "that is spot on!" Thanks to Mozart for composing this and for this recording.

I used to like Clara Haskil's Moart. Ever since I found SJC's Mozart piano concerto no.20 at his Tchaikovsky competition 2011, I fell in love with his Mozart. This concerto no.21 played very lively, rhythmically and full of youthfulness. Hope to have more SJC's Mozart recordings.

By any chance, do you know what version he used for cadenzas in the 3rd movement? - I think 1st Mvt's cadenza sounds the same as Radu Lupu's, but not sure about the 3rd Mvt.

When one listens to great music such as this performance of Mozart’s Piano Concerto 21, one can’t help but feel humbled and grateful at the same time to be born as part of the human race.

조성진씨 진짜 모짜르트 답게 연주합니다. 쇼팽은 쇼팽답게 베토벤은 베토벤 답게 작곡자들의 감성을 다 파악한다는 건데. 타고난 천재라고 볼수 밖에는 더는 다른 말이 필요 없네요.

조성진은 베토벤처럼 깊이를 가진 곡에서만이 아니라 모짜르트처럼 에너지 흐름이 빠른 곡 연주에서도 거의 흔들림이 없는 연주를 거침없이 해내고 있다. 아직 젊지만 원숙한 기량을 가진 한국의 자랑스런 피아니스트이다. 자랑스럽다.

1974년 입영 며칠전 착착함을 안고 혼자서 무심코 보았던 영화 엘비라마디간 클래식과의 첫경험 모짜르트21번 2악장 47년째 듣고 있습니다.고전은 단지 오래됨만이 아니라.고정된 변치않음을 의미하는듯. 내가 베토번을 우연히 길거리에서 만났다면 머리숙여 정중히 인사할것이다.모짜르트를 만났다면 경쾌하게 손을 흔들었을것이다.

It's like Mozart was reincarnated in this beautiful young man. Bravo, Bravo, Bravo! We are blessed to have such a gift as this young man., he's beyond words. My Little One I send a BIG HUG from your adopted grandma Tillie in New York.

My favorite rendition of #21. His performance is speechless.

Seong. Jin obviously understands , enjoys and captures the essence and lyrical quality of this beautiful Mozart piano concerto.. I enjoyed his performance immensely .

Unbelievable how a single performance could have so much healing power. This performance literally heals me, I instantly feel better whenever I listen to it. Seong-Jin said he enjoys playing Mozart very much and it shows. I hope he knows the joy he brings to us every time he plays the piano.

뉴저지에서 연주할때 갔었는데 감동 감동였어요. 내 숨소리마저 방해가 될까봐 숨죽이고 연주를 들은 기억이 나네요. 우리나라에 보배 아니 세계 중 보배 입니다.

임신했을 때 정말 많이 들었어요 코로나로 연주회도 못가고 집에서 조성진씨 피아노 연주로 태교 많이 했네요 아기 태어난 지 100일 되었는데 순하다고 소문났어요^^ 조성진씨 감사해요~~~😀😀😀

이건 타고난거야.. 노력과 즐기는것만으론 절대 이를수 없는 경지

모짤트피협21번 이보다 더 황홀할순 없습니다. 지휘자도 훌륭하고 특히 조성진 19세때 이정도로 해석하다니그의 앞날이 기대됩니다.특히 2악장최곱니다

He is the greatest Mozart player I ever heard. I actually wept tears of joy over this performance. The terrace dynamics, the exquisite phrasing, the crystalline tone and textures, and the sheer joy of his music making are a marvel. May he live to be 100! The world needs such beauty.

조성진 연주가 황홀할 뿐. 게다가 실항녹화 음질이 너무 좋아 놀라울 정도.

원래 피아노소리 별로 안좋아했는데 조성진님 피아노를 만난 이후로 피아노는 영혼의 악기라는 생각을 했어요. 피아노가 이렇게 아름다운 소리를 내다니요.

고르고 고른소리들의 연결은 나비날개처럼 가볍다가도 큰파도의 파워처럼 감동이 밀려옵니다. 어쩜 저리도 고르고 알차고 그러면서도 선율의 김동까지 느끼게 할까요? 대한민국의 보배입니다.

Incredible performance. Better then Pollini or many other great pianist in this and previous century. Seong-Jin Cho is for sure connected with higher power.

클래식의 문외한인 내가 듣기에 조성진님의 연주는 맑고 조용한 호수위에 떨어지는 투명한 물방울이 튀는듯한 맑고 경쾌함에, 초원을 맘껏 뛰노는 자유로움 을 느끼게 합니다. 피아노란 악기에도 연주자에 따라 색깔과 소리가 다름을 조성진님의 연주를 듣고 깨닫네요. 훌륭한 연주자로써 승승장구 하세요👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

서양 클레식 잘 모르고 지루해서 관심도 없지만 모짜르트 피아노 연주곡은 정말 아름다운것 같다. 처음 들었을때 그 감동을 잊을수 없다. 2악장 특히.

Debo empezar por felicitar al ingeniero de sonido porque esta grabación suena muy bien através de KZread y en mi caso del móvil. No sé cómo interpretaría Mozart su propia música, pero seguramente el propio Mozart aplaudiría esta interpretación de Seong Jin Cho . Si no me equivoco Cho ganaría luego la XXVII edición del concurso Internacional Frederyk Chopin que celebra en Varsovia cada cinco años. 👏👏👏👏⚘⚘⚘⚘

This pianist is a revelation to me; every composer under his piano hands becomes as if re-baptized! This is especially so for Chopin, but Mozart is a good third in this respect. Amazing! I listen to his renditions and often come to the surprising conclusion that these are the ways that the compositions under consideration should exactly be played like he does. This only happens once in a lifetime. What a blessing to be able to be part of this revelation!

@@ansutan1857 The cadenza of the 1st movement is musically terrible, but that's to be expected since songwriting is not the forte of modern pianists trying to fill in the gaps for a naturally talented and gifted composer who wrote in a manner that made instruments a singer. The "latent" or "hidden" syncopation in the music is stripped and destroyed in the cadenza, for one. The third movement's cadenza integrates better.

A happy little concerto. It bubbles along joyously. Thank you S-JC. The second movement of this always reduced my bushman grazier husband to tears, for some reason. Made me fall in love with him 52 years' ago.

2주째 밤샘하며 세계최고 작곡가해석력을 지닌 조성진님의 모차르트 피아노협주곡 21을 가장많이 듣는데...레알 안질리고 계속 눈물만나고 행복하고 힐링되요.. 너무 고마운 은인이심....ㅠㅠ

Brilliant performance. Each note is clearly phrased even in the fastest phrases, the pianissimo is extraordinary light, the trills are of an exceptional regularity. The musicality of this interpretation is admirable.

이쯤 되면 모짜르트가 환생한 것이 아닌가 의심 ❤️ 어쩜 이렇게 감각적이고 투명하게 반짝반짝한 소리가 날까

This very western classical music by an Austrian composer from the 18th century is so exquisitely interpreted and performed by a Japanese orchestra featuring an impressive pianists from South Korea - enjoyed by an audience in Tokyo.
