I strongly disagree. The brilliance of a judge is one that is neutral and not pursuing any narrative. This one is: -State Biased -Pre-conclusive in conduct -Intolerant of the defence counsel and extremely condescending -Overly involved with witnesses as if he’s testifying in support of the state’s case -Protective of the prosecution -Closing loopholes on behalf of the prosecution by covering areas the State is exposed in; which would weaken its case -Inconsistent in administering justice - Always patient with Adv. Baloyi but impatient with the defence counsel on similar issues. For an example, when Baloyi omits certain information from witnesses to control the narrative, the judge is fine; but questions the defence counsel for doing the same. Why?! And that’s just ONE example of his inconsistency. -He has a persuasive and intimidating agenda against the defence in favour of the prosecution. Having said that, these five accused may be guilty of other crimes as reportedly alluded; but pinning THIS case on them, will not bring justice for this crime. They will just be scapegoated and the real perpetrators will not be prosecuted if the judge continues in this bias approach. We are asking for justice and not to tick a box of a “closed case”.
