Wait for the prosecution mam. They'll ask the correct questions to lead to the direction they want. Defence is doing her job of painting her as failed. Mshololo says you failed to take Fingerprints on the door. She is leading him to say it was a failure and is not interested on the process he wants to point out. Prosecution will stretch that to show it was not a failure but a process. Key thing here is none of the defence guys started with asking what is the process.

I am not an officer, but we do chain of evidence because of our work. i can tell you its the most challenging part of the case and so easy for lawyers to poke faults. you will be suprised how many cases get thrown out because of the chain of evidence is done wrong. They will look for the smallest mistake and you will look foolish on the stand .

Ndhlovu was not senior in forensic. So he wouldn’t know if the crime scene requires 1 forensic officer or a task team. He was senior in rank. Brigadier to Seagent.

@@masterletsoalo The first responder (Brigadier Ndhlovu), has to render or relay or “point out” - as mentioned, - information regarding the crime scene to the forensic “expert” or task team upon his/their arrival to the scene. So In short, that was the proper procedure followed by Sergeant Mosia. Thereafter Mosia has to evacuate/clear the area and seal the crime scene and begin with his work.

Recall the judge tried to educate Teffo and he took it to be confined. The judge made that pronouncement clear so he is avoiding Teffo saying he is biased again. This might come back and bite Teffo. I can't imagine a judgement without a comment about Teffo, win or lose.

Master Letsoalo, true. Infact Brig. Ndlovu himself should have already called the Task team if it was really true that procedure dictates that complicated crime scenes require more skilled forensics. The police system is getting exposed. If we lived in a country that takes real action, the police would be held responsible. As it is, l honestly feel this case is doomed. The lack of evidence tying anyone to the crime will lead to both sets of accused in Docket 1 and Docket 2, walking free. The only thing that those that were in the house will be guilty for is tempering with evidence and they already have excuses for that.

I had suggested long ago that whoever had something to tell of Senzo's murder, should come forward before the sun could set, but fell on deaf ears, but now, it is dawning and hearing towards somewhere, I wonder, will some one dare not to take the blame, for the reality unfolds. But Mosia has just confessed that he is fearing for his life and he is incap, but that warrant officer who he initially said he wrote the statement for ballistic, is now a colonel, was this a form of reward for cover up, after the download of pictures, in his words the CD remained with him, so how then was it taken to the pronvicial office, as he pointed to the entry on the register, there is a lot to this case than what meets the eye, now that Ndlovu is late, he will be used as a scapegoat, I begin to believe that high ranking officials in SAPS were involved in covering up,probably including NPA connection and a political figure, but the truth has its own way of coming out

Mr Mosia tempered with evidence himself, he removed physical evidence before call task team. How would then the task team reconstruct the crime scene. If it was above the scope of practice for Mr Mosia to conduct his duty, he should have called the task team initially and waited for the task team in order for both to resume with crime scene reconstruction.
