Not bad looking at lowest settings, accepted performance from steam deck

Yea the game even if not everyones thing is a Graphical showcase and i was surprised to see it actually run as decent as it is.

Honestly I'm amazed that these devices can even get close to 30 fps in this game. A pretty good showing for the Claw too, not far behind the Ally.

Please force the 720p resolution on the deck. Force it in Steam OS

Not a good idea on this game. I alrdy hate black bars so i would use 720 on deck anyway unless no choice. On the deck screen u go 720p plus rhe way this game bars are done and rhe picture is even smaller. Cant do it lol. Rly hate the decision they made with the bars. They say cinematic I dont buy it. They did it for performance cause your rendering in alot less on screen. Lowering pixel count

@@GameTechPlanet I have the oled so I don't even notice but it makes sense as the aspect ratio on this games makes little sense. Luckily I am not buying it but if I did, I'd probably stream this instead of running it locally.

Xbox Series X is locked to 30FPS and Digital Foundry said it's one of those games that works really well at 30FPS. So if you can get a consistent 30FPS then it's going to be very playable.

Yea i played thru the whole game. A majority is just walking and the combat is very pattern based. Definitely not abgame that needs high fps

I thought the Claw’s graphics were the most lifelike out of these handhelds in my opinion. Surprised me

Xess quality scale factor is 1.7x while Fsr quality scale factor is 1.5x. Intel even makes cheat still can't win rnda3.

Its not about winning or cheating lol. And xess is almost always way better quality than fsr. But as far as a one to one with fsr scale no not rly but they are diff tech. Its best just to ise native on the devices. Fsr for amd and xess for intell and dlss for nvidia. I do t do camps or winners or losers. Just performance.

@@GameTechPlanet replace FSR by DLSS in my reply, then Intel has no excuse. DLSS already has better quality when having same scale factor with Xess. Intel doesn't work hard (or they have but really can't do much) on improving driver generally, they only improve each game/application one by one, their software engineers are really weak.

Why aren't you running these all at the same settings? The Deck should be at 720p, and all of them should be set to FSR3 Balanced or performance. I understand the MSI Claw has an Arc gpu, essentially, so it will benefit from XeSS immensely, but that doesn't make it a comparable test! Still surprised that runs decent on the Claw regardless.

This wasnt that kind of comparison. It was meant to test each devices handheld native performance at each running their best. It wasnt a competition it was to show how each is running the game. You will see other comparisons on the channel where its matched for those reasons. I always try to state in the video what type im doing. Its not always about parity

@@ucle9955 it happens on all comparisons lol. Always someone wants it different. Theres so many useful ways to compare these devices tho and I try to be clear in each video what im comparing.
