2 years late, but it doesn’t open only because the inner plastic has shrunk making the gear near impossible to turn. I was able to work mine open slowly and then sand the gear down to fit nice.

I still have it and still can't get it open

S&G locks are L-R-L rather than R-L-R. What happens if you starts turning anticlockwise, rather than clockwise?

Its left 3x right 2x left to the last number. You're doing it backwards.

Same problem. Videos showed some starting to Left others Right. Went on Sentry website and found the Model number then downloaded the manual. Working now.

I looked at buying one today, and the locksmith couldn't even open it at the store.

Yeah it opened fine until it didn't

Try knocking out the hinge

Bought one yesterday opened it several times luckily I didn’t put anything in it but won’t open today

That's crazy. Call the manufacturer and they'll send you a new one for free

When you get to the last number you have to spin the dial to the right until the lock disengages

But what happens if it's doing the same thing when you have a digital one?.. My is doing the exact same thing. His is except mine has the digital keypad.

@cassieshelton2329 I've been trying to get into mine for over a year with no success, the company will send a lock Smith and replace the safe for you.

The first number comes after rotating clock wise three times then rotate two times anti clock wise on the second number then clock wise one time

No. I still have the safe and the combo. Can't open it. They sent me a new one but it's weird why it won't open.

They made me film that video to prove I was putting in the right code and it still wasn't opening

I've been using thr large one that looks exactly like it's just bigger and after 5 yrs it's up and locked up on me I have no idea what to do

Call the company. They might help you. I still haven't figured out how to get into mine

I have the same one and the key got stuck halfway between lock and unlock and it's stuck now and will not open
