In the small Lithuanian town of Silute we return the walled to Thomas who drove all the way from Klaipeda to pick it up. We ourselves rode the motorcycle that way so we could take the ferry to the Neringa peninsula, a long sandbank lik in Hel Poland. Exploring the border near Nida we get sent away by the customs guards. We check out the dunes and beach, spend the night in Juodkrantė.

My grandmother was Prussian, spoke Lithuanian, and lived in what today is Zapovednoe, Kaliningrad, oblast, Ryssland which at the time was German. I have never found any evidence that the locals were decimated, and the Prussian language survived for 100s of years after the Germans came. Do you have any proof of your claim?

Thanks neederlans freends I wish meet you somewhere in the traveler adventure. I wish you guy's good luck and have beautiful time and see you in the next video. Bye ❤️
I'll tell you something, I was there last October and even then there was some sort of roadblock. I drove past it and it was like a different world because suddenly the road was totally empty and I saw no vehicle between that point and back. A bit surreal to see the place again in your vlog and combined with the present it gives me this eerie feeling. Sad and somehow exhilarating at the same time

So not too busy even back then? I wondered since the place is a national park with a ferry at the end that costs 30 euros for cars in the peak season. Bit of post apocalyptic feel that was on the border.

Lives in Lithuania are cheap. Just after graduating a professional school, I was instructed to climb the roof to fix antennas for the job. No training or proper equipment. Just ladder and my own sport boots. I quit the job after co-worker pushed the ladder off when I was climbing up with his car backing in reverse and I broke my collar bone. Probably your family would get 50k for such instance in case you die (while employee breaking lots of rules/not providing equipment or training).

Great video! Just a quick comment - no need to speak pidgin English to Lithuanians.
