I'm Lithuanian,to me it's nothing special all about it,but food.Food and beer is really good in Lithuania and I would recommend to visit Vilnius in Christmas time, you really will be impressed. Lithuanias are crazy for Christmas, they follow many traditions and they spend A LOOOT of money just for decorating it's towns and Christmas trees. So yeah, everyone is welcome in Lithuania 😊 and I really mean everyone.

What a great vlog! It can be seen clearly that you have done your homework and actually did some deeper research into the country you're visiting. You mentioned that the Grand Duchy Of Lithuania was once the biggest country in Europe, all other videos about Lithuania I've seen just mentions something about Lithuania uniting with Poland and the united state being the largest in Europe but no one ever digs deep enough to find out that the GDL on it's own was the largest even before the union. And the fact about bagels originating in the GDL was new even to me and I've been living my whole life in Lithuania.

Hey! I work as a border guard and my strong advice is not to have a souvenir stamps on your passport. They can really get you in trouble at some borders and you might get denied to enter some countries. Also visa applications can be refused if there are souvenir stamps on the passport. Passports are considered invalid if they have markings which are not official stamps from the borders. I hope this tip helps with your future travels!

Quick note on the "sveika" at the very beginning, we have a few different versions of the same word that are used when referring to different people, "sveika" is used when you say hi to one female person, "sveikas" when referring to one male person, "sveikos" when referring to a group of female people and "sveiki" when referring to a group of male people or as a gender neutral way of saying hi to everyone. So definitely would recommend saying "sveiki" in the beginning of videos. (Which you might already know about considering this is an old video, but l figured it may be interesting for other people to hear too)

Hi Texans greetings from Oklahoma and one of your newest Bulgarian Subscribers. It was such a nice and refreshing thing to see y'all's videos about our beautiful country. Like Lithuania Bulgaria has also been one of the largest countries in Europe the 4th largest at all times actually, Plovdiv where I am from is the oldest still active city in Europe, and the Cyrillic was given to the world by Us yes thats right not Russia.... The bacteria for Yogurt making grows naturally inly in our country and many big countries buy it fresh to make yogurt these days - lactobacillus bulgaricus it is! As well as several other strains that you will get to see a lot. Why I am commenting this here is because I watched the cinnamon rolls that you all had in this video and that made me think of a very old amish town in Kansas called yoder! When you are back please have that place in mind there is nothing like it :) thank you for the tour of Lithuania sending smiles from super super hot OKC 😊😊😊

@@KeepGoingPlaces you are so very welcome, there are so many hidden gems one can find in parts of Europe that are not as obvious indeed :) Please do, that place in KS is amazing! Also not sure of you have visited Kanyon, TX which I am suspecting you have but if not you must go, they have a great coffee house downtown, and one of the best vegan lates - the aztec :) I am one of the first diy vloggers in Bulgaria so just wanted to reach out as a fellow friend :) sending a smile it sure is hot in Oklahoma 🥵🌸.

nice video! Glad you liked Lithuania. But regarding the food in the video, nothing seems to be traditional Lithuanian or commonly consumed in Lithuania. Cepelinai is common, but it's usually ordered with meat filling. I hope you guys are vegetarians, because otherwise its a sin to eat Cepelinai with cottage cheese :D you should really have tried pink soup either being vegetarian or not. Green sweet is Turkish and bagel is Polish. Not sure about cinnamon bun relation to Lithuania, but it looked really good :) backstage coffee - really good choice! The most traditionally and commonly consumed thing in the video was pickled cucumbers i think ;D

You forgot to try the best Neapolitan pizza outside of Italy. And such a pizzeria is in Užupis. This pizzeria won the Neapolitan Pizza World Award for the best Neapolitan pizza outside of Naples ;) By the way - UZUPIS - translates as "other side of the river" ;)

Should hang out more in old town. Climb up to castle or 3 cross hill, visit one of the oldest N. Europe Vilnius university. Kudos for vid, want to book some holidays and spend there couple of days. Was a living broke student there for 4 years, now I want to raid all them cafes, bars and eat at least 2-3 zeppelins.
