Vintage Sennheiser Mics Shootout: MD441-U vs. Telefunken MD-421-5
In this video, I compare the MD441-U and the Telefunken-branded MD-421-5 microphones. Both mics are tested using a Friedman Small Box 50 head and a Bogner 212 oversized cabinet equipped with Celestion G12 Vintage 30 speakers (made in the UK, 1998). The guitar featured is a Suhr Custom Standard. No post-processing is applied; you’ll hear the raw sound straight from the speakers.
