Sennheiser EW100 G2 Radio Microphone - Distance Test
Ғылым және технология
Shows the EW122-P radio mic set and demonstrates just how far away they can be made to work.
The distance acheived is really a bit of fun - it wouldnt be reliable for broadcast work - it just helps demonstrate that with a clear line of sight this kind of equipment can pull off great results !
[Small tip: I found putting 6 inches seperation between the RECEIVER ant he camcorder helped alot in getting good signal to noise on the weak sigs from the distant transmitter. This is 'cos of the RFI put out by the camcorders internals. If the receiver is slapped up beside the camcorder you will have more problems I think....)

great test! thx for the video, I think I made up my mind on what to purchase!
xonkarate - yes it is a 3.5mm jack. The supplied mic has a 'locking' screw-on mechanism added to the jack plug. its a 'stereo' ie 3 conductor plug. I have not actually tried to use any other type of mic so Im not sure if others would work as well. rgds
@TheWindCutter That wasn't wind noise, and how do you put a wind cutter on a wireless mic?
A WindCutter windscreen will get you good, clean audio, without all the wind noise.
We make WindCutters for ALL microphones, including wireless lavs like the Sennheiser EW100, and micro-size lavs too. Check out the website.
