Horizontal antenna.on receiver, vertical antenna on transmitter, especially that horizontal.antenna shows its tip to towards the receiver is the worst loss of signal strength you can imagine. Turn the antenna on the receiver to vertical polarisation and you will get way better reception.
I’m interested to hear what these mics would sound like using a rubber or tape triangle underneath your shirt to mask the rustling sound, since that was the only thing that seemed distracting to me with the noise floor on these mics. Otherwise, they had fantastic sound performance to my untrained ear 👍🏻
