Sennacherib's Prism - the Campaign Against Judah and the Siege Of Jerusalem

In Sennacherib’s Annals, discovered in archaeological excavations in the city of Nineveh, Sennacherib describes his campaign against Judah-the same campaign as is described in the book of Kings. Sennacherib arrogantly recounts his conquests in Judah and speaks of shutting up Hezekiah in his city like “a caged bird.” But the fact that he doesn’t mention achieving his main goal-the conquest of Jerusalem-arouses suspicions that the Assyrian king is hiding something…

God came to the rescue of his people. i remember getting goosebumps when I researched and found out that he couldn't conquer Jerusalem even though they were outnumbered. GOD IS GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was denied first by the Assyrian historian that this king was a phony or a myth. Till they found the prism

The Assyrians are a great and not false civilization that ruled the world under the leadership of the great King Nimrod and King Sennacherib the Assyrians

Are you talking about Tiharka who is mentioned in 2 Kings 19:9 and Isaiah 37:9? It mentions that he came to make war with Assyria but not that Assyria’s turning away was because of that. But I get it that that is the “easier to believe” answer to those who want to dismiss the account as recorded, since it involves divine intervention. And since that can’t possibly be true, let’s speculate on some alternative other than the account already given to us because God just can’t exist and so that part must be left out. Thank goodness the Bible was preserved despite all attempts to eradicate it. Otherwise I wouldn’t even know, & I would just have to take your word for it. But the record is there & so I reject your alternative.
