Seniors Need Any Of These 5 CCW Pistols For Self-Defense!

Спорт

Whether you like it or not, no people are safe today. Those thugs? They won't spare the innocent and defenseless--even your dog or cat will not get a free pass. Some are just too quick in pulling the strap to anyone they deem prey.
So, if you have a senior in your care or if you are the elderly, then it's a good decision to get armed, especially if you think that you are in a bad neighborhood or if you feel that your safety is always compromised. But of course, not all guns are suitable for old people; the gun they should pick must be light, easy to operate, and guarantee low recoil impulse, such as the ones I am going to show you here.

It's crucial for older individuals to have firearms that are not only effective but also manageable in terms of weight and recoil.

Thought the recommendation for the Kel Tek .32 was good. The Ruger LCR in .38 Special not so much. I’ve been teaching concealed carry for the past several months and have seen quite a few seniors come thru. First and foremost seniors have the same large or small hands that hey had when they were younger. Dexterity and skin changes may cause difficulty with managing the slide or the buttons. The recoil of things with polymer frames in 9mm or .38 Special are harder to control when dealing with arthritis or shoulder/elbow injuries. The Shield EZ with its grip safety is a problem for some. I recommend the LCR in .327 Mag or .22 LR/WMR. I also am appreciating the Taurus TX22 as it is very light and when broke in, is not terribly ammo sensitive. The Ruger SR 22 seems to be good once broke in, but if one finds a load that works consistently, stick with it. S&W M&P 22 or Walther TP22s are also worthy of consideration. Charter makes the Pathfinder revolver in both 22LR and WMR. The. There’s also the Gerson copies of the Beretta .380 with the tip up barrel. Seniors need as much training with defense handguns as anyone else. The problem is that sometimes they are ignored or think they they could do it 40 years ago, nothing’s changed.

Just throwing it out there: Women please never carry a pistol in your purse there's too much junk at the bottom and they get all destroyed, also what happens if somebody comes up and snatches your purse and runs off they now have your gun. Or even more common you put your purse on the back of your chair and then forget it when you go to the bathroom. I have done this (once) there's no worse feeling than knowing you just left your gun.. For your own safety security carry in a holster, stay safe..

I can't believe you reviewers can recommend any Kel Tech Versa or Taurus, although TrTaurus has been greatly improved when your Ass is on the line cheap or money in general should not be in the decision, don't get me wrong you don't need Wilson Combat or Nighthawk but a few dollars more should be in the decision for dependably
