We're excited to bring you our second behind the scenes photography video using the Panasonic Lumix S5ii for professional photography. This session had the most perfect sunset and we loved the final results. One of Matt's favorite things about the S5ii, is the updated autofocus system bringing crisp and incredibly sharp images almost every time.

I use the 35mm 1.8 and 85mm 1.8. If I need to get a little wider I'll pull out my 24-70 but not often.
How's the autofocus performance in lowlight?

It's worked quite well for me. Sometimes when a subject is backlit it has a bit of trouble but 99% of time it's been great!
I was using Nikon D800 for 14 years, I must say I have had problems with the speed of the Lumix S5II engine for focusing fast and exactly in the point I want, I have been testing different focusing modes, but I still haven´t nail it... :S

The s5ii was a major improvement from the s1r, but not quite as good as the others on the market! I've been running into problems with buffering. Hope you find settings that work well for you!
Need to hold slash freeze on photo for 5 seconds.
Is shooting photos with this panny intuitive? How is af in photo mode? Did I you use human ai?

Thanks for the comment! It feels natural and didn't require much thought switching to shooting with the s5ii. AF in photo mode is a major improvement from the s1r. My keeper rate of images is more than double just due to the autofocus improvements. I rarely use human ai. Seems to function well, but I prefer to use single point.
