Her parents played a huge part in her life and started prepping her for college when she was just a kid and would road trip with her to numerous universities teaching her about her potential. I think that was a fantastic idea!

Acknowleding struggles and inequities isn't the same as blaming anyone... But I agree, her parents gave her a great foundation; they have said that they hope to help support others through the process in the future.

Do you really believe that???? She's BLACK, so I assume these were handouts. Blacks are spotted some 320 points on the SAT tests, and I'm assuming any black who gets at least 800 out of 1,600 points on the SAT's is a "standout" and are offered scholarships at the drop of a hat.

Why don't they bother to list all of her great achievements so that others might have a better idea of exactly what it takes? GPA, SAT scores? What else does she have that others may be missing? What is the magic recipe? Or am I asking too much?

Congrats, but none of those schools are particularly difficult to get into. Heck, University of Alabama is not even in the top 500 world rankings. Would have been more impressive if she got into Emory or GATech.
