Honestly the Vet bills are the ONLY reason I am not adopting right now. Even though I can provide food, shelter, daily exercise and most importantly unconditional love, fear of vet bills are the only reason I'm holding back. Still have one dog and a cat but lost one of my dog six months ago and 10 thousand dollars was the bill at the end. I would have paid anything to save him, but doctors were not able to do it. So now I fight with myself EVERYDAY. Love animals and want to rescue at least one dog right now, but I am so scared.

@@KJ-oon Remember that even if you have to put a future rescue down because of exorbitant vet costs, you have given it a much better life than the rescue would have had otherwise. The important thing is to minimize suffering in this world, even if it is for a shorter while.

He was terrified until he realized he won the life lottery! He’s gorgeous boy! I don’t think he’s very old. He just looked rough on the street. But then you see his transformation - he looked young again, and his teeth look too white and pristine to be a senior. I hope he has MANY blessed years with his new family. G’boy!

Hope for Paws does such amazing work rescuing all kinds of animals. The world would be a better place if there were more people like Eldad and the rest of the crew.

HFP and eldad is one of them. yes, the world is a crappy place and that is because of people like eldad. has nothing to do with me disliking "stuff." learn the historical actions of eldad's people so you're not so ignorant of the situation. and trust me child, im older than you.

@silverfoxeater Well, the money goes indirectly towards the animals by saving them and paying the vet bills, which can get very expensive. And at least the animals in the videos don't end up in shelters, but at foster homes, which is a different thing. But yeah, the money is used for the time before the foster home

We lost our senior doggie recently. I want to adopt a wise elder pooch.

When the senior dog turns into a puppy: *It is evolving, just backwards* He took "I'll always be a Toys R Us kid" seriously

After the adoption he just couldn’t stop smiling!! Happy days!!

Beautiful old fella... Kind of got the feeling he knew he was being rescued pretty soon after being captured.

Dogs have such expressive eyes! You could see the worry and apprehension in them initially, even as he held food in this mouth. Then, as soon as he felt safe sitting in the car, his relief was obvious. Later, at home on the sofa with his new family, his eyes read pure JOY.

He looked so relieved especially after his Bath/Spa and tidy up he was quite a handsome (if older) dog. "Hello World I'm Here" You sure are and I hope you got a new forever home to enjoy- it was well deserved.

I have 18 days till i move in my new house and as soon as im un packed (1-2weeks tops) the 1st thing im doing is getting a dog i pray i can find a dog just like this old guy hes beautiful and seems like a sweet heart

I run a charity and yearly I tour a large metro and chat with the homeless, take them out to lunch and dinner, see if there is anything I can do to help. Life on the streets makes a person look 20 years older than they are. I've seen people in their 30s looking like 50-60s. With humans they are on the streets usually because of mental issues. With dogs, they are on the streets usually because of mental issues, with the owners.

Senior dogs and cats are like that old comfortable sweatshirt.

I’ve got a real soft spot for senior dogs 🐕 so important to give a full life and they can offer so much too! Puppies are fabulous but seniors have an edge recently!!❤️❤️

I hate it when humans turn their backs on senior/elderly dogs like they're not of worth, much like many people do with their own elderly relatives. They deserves love until the very end.

All a doggie needs to be happy is food, shelter, and love.

I rescued a dog from a foreclosed house in 1965 I was 15 I'm 74 now ,such a blessing for my family ,I'll never forget you BOY.

First time Eldad touched his forehead he flinched as if he's going to be hit. So sad, he didn't deserve this. Everything happens for a reason, hopefully now he will be loved.

that was Hope For Paws that did that Rescue......but yes, Takis Shelter is an AWSOME organization. Takis gave up his night clubs in Greece to run that shelter and has devoted his life caring for unwanted dogs, cats donkeys and goats.

Dogs are not disposable, dogs are a big commitment. Please be responsible when you adopt a puppy because someday they will get old, you can’t just dump them and go get another puppy. Thank you for rescuing this precious dog, he deserved better. Now he will live out his life happy.

These are the people in our world who should be leading the rest of us. Such compassion and love. May god bless each of your lives.

I do have two beautiful dogs jack and bingo and two cats tiger and bunny they always make my day so beautiful... My dogs love sleeping in my bed sometimes my son said they want to cuddle lol..... People who are kind to older folks and animals have a special place in Heaven, in my mind.

i remember watching his rescue a while back , he looked so happy at the end of this video such a big smile one his face
