That "food festival" was just like the BBQ one I went to where I live, and it was the first festival I went to. I would love to go to one of those food festivals that just has an entrance fee.

howtobeabeast you have to pay for entry to all food festivals and the food. I go to a lot in Miami. Only some of them if the entry fee is like 100-150 per person, that will include all food and drinks.

howtobeabeast I'm not talking about this one in particular. I wasn't there, I can't speak on it. Typically food truck rallies are free, and you simply pay for the food. Not sure how this one was set up. But there are other food festivals that especially in Miami, they bring Michelin star chefs to the location, and you eat things like steak and seafood with various wines. When I go to those food things, you usually RSVP in advance and it is limited to how many people may attend. But I have also gone to full on food festivals with different restaurant and you have to pay to get in there as well. So it all depends. At the end of the day, you are paying more for the experience, than the food.
