this is one of the best speaches ive ever seen. He was never a great public speaker but in this moment, knowing how important it was, he channeled his brothers.

His eulogy at his brother Robert's funeral was another good one.

Now it’s 2023 & keeping our DEMOCRACY is the major concern. Nobody really wants to live under an authoritarian/dictatorship . Look at history.. those kind of governments never end well.

I remember seeing Ted Kennedy speak in 1982. Regardless of Party affiliation or beliefs, he was a helluva speaker, especially in person

Ted Kennedy could’ve been our 39th president (1977-1985) with Jimmy Carter as our vice president and then Jimmy Carter would’ve been our 40th president (1985-1989) with Walter Mondale as our vice president and the rest is all history, except for the fact that Joe Biden becomes our 45th president (2017-2025) with Bernie Sanders as our vice president right now, which means that Bernie becomes the presidential hopeful for the 2024 election and because Ted Kennedy shares the same birthday month as Ronald Reagan [Presidents’ Month (February)], even though Reagan’s birthday is on February 6th, 1911 and Ted’s birthday is on February 22nd, 1932 and Ted’s presidency prevents Reagan from ever becoming president, Ronald Reagan Day is removed and replaced by Ted Kennedy Day, which means that George Washington Day is moved back to his (Washington’s) original birthday (February 19th), thanks to Ted being a Kennedy and putting solar panels on the White House roof, just like Carter did. I think that Reagan was a great president, but Ted would’ve been a slightly better president than Reagan actually was.

That entire comment that you made only 2 months ago makes no sense whatsoever. I didn’t realize that “Bernie Sanders” was Biden’s Vice President. That is a new one to me. Don’t forget that Ronald Reagan won 44 states out of 50 in this country he also won 538 members of the Electoral College in 1980. Maybe someone should brush up on their history before putting them in writing before claiming something’s that are entirely false…

@@rd7425 I never said that I have an issue with Reagan. In fact, Reagan is also one of my heroes. All that I’m saying is that Ted would’ve been just as good as Reagan, if not, at least slightly better. Reagan wouldn’t be welcomed in today’s Republican Party. Reagan wouldn’t have voted for Trump either time and would’ve in fact, voted for the Democrat, both times, just to vote against Trump.

@@jasonarokiaraj9817, I understand what you are trying to say now that you explained it in a little more detail. When I originally read it, I have to say that I was very confused on your point. No worries, all is good 👍
