Sen. Whitehouse Engages in a Colloquy with Sen. Graham on Seizing Russian Oligarch Assets

May 12 | Senators Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), and Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) spoke on the Senate floor about the importance of holding Russian President Vladimir Putin and his oligarchs accountable for their aggression toward Ukraine. They called for Congress to take action to help federal authorities seize oligarch assets - like the mega-yachts, private jets, mansions, and expensive art belonging to Putin and his cronies - and use the proceeds from the sale of those assets to aid the people of Ukraine.

And when faith is strong enough to drum up emotions to the point of murdering dissenters cuz they BELIEVED (without evidence) to be "evil" "satan worshiping" "pedophiles", not only cant you talk top these people you must defend yourself. Our oligarchs also have their yachts, multiple mansions and private islands. It’s disgusting and destroying this country.

Most of the people who would be renting them would have got their wealth through dodgy means but by paying the new owners rental fees that dodgy money would be making its way back to ordinary people via the forfeiture system. Their FANTASY is that a woman becomes STUCK with 9 months of pregnancy on HER own dime, but what hasn't been mentioned is that any man's name can be written into the health records of the pregnant woman, thus BEGINNING a document stating who she BELIEVES the father of the fetus is. At birth, any man's name can be written onto the birth document! The only thing to prove non-fatherhood is the DNA test, and a woman can still DENY such test be done on a child that she's in charge of when there's no marriage.

Right wingers are overall pro war/pro conflict. If war is going on, they are involved. They like conflict and chaos. But just the other day Sen Graham was upset and against Sen Sanders because Sen Sanders is trying to bring awareness to workers in some businesses their ability to form unions, to not be oppressed by their workplace....ONE of those companies.. is Amazon. But yet when Amazon was making BILLIONS during the pandemic and not using those billions to enforce good practices in the workplace and sharing that added wealth with employees who were breaking their backs working-Sen Graham didn't agree with the idea that the workforce had every right to call Bezos on his violations against workforce and workplace laws. I repeat Bezos violated workplace and workforce laws and Sen Graham didnt believe the rich and wealthy should be called on that. Bezos could be considered a "oligarch" in America.. Musk as well, there are quite a few others. So he doesnt want to "tread" too hard on this topic because the "right wingers" have the potential to allow for oligarchy/kleptocracy here. They have more potential to create that in our political arena than the Democrat or "moderate" Republican. Look at what we went through between 2001-2008. Middle class at risk of losing their homes and retirements, because of the deregulation tendencies of "right wingers". Alliwi g wealthy to "hoard" and middle class America to endure hardship. They need to see what is wrong with their ideology. None of our House and Senate is paid a salary higher than "middle class". There is a reason for that.
