To be honest, this insanity is happening because of feminism. How many times haven't I heard feminists claim that "women and men are equal"? and that's how they "justify" evil things such as aborting kids, promiscuity, affirmative action, etc. They also whine a ton about "equal pay" for men and women; for instance, they want "equal pay" in sports. They are very ignorant and fail to realize that the reason male athletes are paid more than their female counterparts has to do with the fact that men's sports generate a ton more revenues than women's sports! Consider the WNBA! Nobody attends those games! The WNBA wouldn't exist if it weren't for the NBA subsidizing it! Now, I obviously don't agree with "transwomen" competing in women's sports, but all I'm saying is that this absurdity wouldn't be occurring if it weren't because of feminists' illogical rhetoric during the last few decades.

As a trans woman myself, I find this whole debate horrifying. I totally get why a woman in a locker room may be uncomfortable around someone with male genitalia down there - I see how this can not only be seen as someone invading someones privacy who is vulnerable, but under the wrong circumstances is totally the case! But let me ask you this: I look like a woman, I dress like a woman, I live the life of a woman, I've had surgeries done, I have natural boobs (no top surgery), a very female statue and even if you did it with me you couldn’t tell that once as a young adult I was seen as a man. Do you still want me to go to the locker room where there are men around who would stare their eyes out at me because it would look so off with me being there - because to them I just look like any other woman - because I am! Do I not have a right for privacy myself?

@@Dojosreview In that case I would be worried that some trans guy who hasn’t gotten bottom surgery would be allowed in the woman’s changing room… and I also would be worried about my wife who like me also absolutely passes as a woman, and never got called out in my presence yet, but she doesn’t plan on getting bottom surgery, because she is too worried about complications - and I can totally understand this as in the first 6 months after mine my life was miserable… she also doesn’t experience as much dysphoria about that as I did, I still believe that she too should be allowed to go with me into the woman’s changing room - she is a woman afterall! And people perceive her as one. Things are just not that easy as you can see… and we in the trans community know that! - of course there is bad people among us too, who stain our community, but to exclude those who mean and do no harm because some select few do, is ridiculous! I don’t in any way want to be invalidating a cis woman’s experience with one of those assholes, but I also don’t go around hating on white men because one chased me with a knife and another with an axe when I was still obviously trans - do you see what I mean?

My proposed sollution when working on this very problem was to simply have a seperate bathroom/changing room exclusively reserved for the trans people. I know some trans people would be unhappy with this because they believe themselves to be a fully fledged member of one or another of the 2 sexes, but it seems to me it's the best way to guarantee the privacy of all parties.

As a father of THREE daughters, and who loves competitive sports of all shapes and sizes, I thank you for fighting for my daughters.

Even NPR says there is no fundamental difference between men and women athletes. So there is just two teams. Men’s and Not-Men’s. And someday after girls have learned to train as hard as men they might even be good enough to be in the Men’s team, and then there will be the A-Team and the B-Team, and F-Troop. Riley Gaines is just an over-the-hill has been loser who can’t accept the fact that a dude in a thong trained harder than she did. It is totally inappropriate for a biological male to share a woman’s bathroom with a woman. Men need to stay in their own bathroom’s and their own sports. Also, where are the feminist groups while all of this is happening? Their silence is deafening.

Forcing one’s self into areas like this man forcing himself into women’s sports and the demand we support that decision is proof that he has a mental issue. If he needs the acceptance and affirmation of others, then he obviously is not mentally prepared to live that life. Ultimately, we all have to accept ourselves and realize that the only affirmation we need, comes from within. How is it that the mental anguish imagined to be felt by ONE person carries more weight than that same mental anguish inflicted on hundreds who are told to just shut up?

Even NPR says there is no fundamental difference between men and women athletes. So there is just two teams. Men’s and Not-Men’s. And someday after girls have learned to train as hard as men they might even be good enough to be in the Men’s team, and then there will be the A-Team and the B-Team, and F-Troop. Riley Gaines is just an over-the-hill has been loser who can’t accept the fact that a dude in a thong trained harder than she did. If Gaines had wanted the gold all she had to do was work harder instead of standing behind the apron strings of “women’s team” and Title 9.
